Dark, dark pour with an elegant tan head. Reasonably dry, french roast coffee and cocoa powder, mouthfeel slightly on the thin side for the ABV. Couldn’t quite match up to the brownie sundae desert with which I paired it --- but at 6.8%, it should have been up to the challenge.
Characterized by a dark brown-amber body topped with a thin, creamy head. Nose luxuriously blessed with chocolate-covered espresso essence. Wondrous fragrant, richly cold-brewed coffee mates with the olfactory senses. The body is creamy coffee with a bold rich espresso roast flavor. On tap. Pours opaque black with a creamy tan head. Kinda fun just watching it settle down. Mostly fresh-brewed coffee in the nose, with some malt showing thru. Medium body and slight carbonation. Loads of coffee in the taste, blending enjoyably with stout flavors.
