A NEW recipe for 2006. This beer is the answer to the perennial question "What’s the lightest beer you have on tap?" Straw-colored and mildly hopped, it will be "all that" come summertime when it finally warms up arouond these parts. But you can enjoy it now.

On June 23, 2015. At Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub in Seattle, Washington.
Light hazy golden color, white head. Malty, sweet, light herbal taste. Herbal aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Malty, clean scent, a bit fruity.

Clear golden under a thin white head. Malty golden cereal nose with a light grassy German hop nose. Flavor is cerealish with a slightly belgianish yeast tone. Like a Belgo pilsner.

savnac (2656) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Draft @ Elliot Bay. Clear golden yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma is light malt, hay, doughy yeast and light fruit. Flavor is light malt with some fruity esters and very mild bitterness. Light body and a crisp finish. Pretty good for the style, light and no real flaws.

Gotta be the best blonde I’ve ever had. Flower and grain in the nose. Grain in the mouth. Super light and drinkable, not fuzzy, with just a perfect bitterness in the aftertaste. Bravo!

Blonde-bronze with small head. Looks a bit more vibrant than the typical pale lager. Crisp aroma pungent with Saaz, about my least favorite hop. Flavor is also crisp with Saaz emphasized. Slight sourdough-bitter hop finish.

BuckeyeBoy (9218) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 5, 2009
On tap at West Seattle brewpub. Pours out a nice straw topped with a white head. Aroma of light grain and hop notes. Tast was of light hops and more of the grain. Kind of a corn tast.

riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2008
Kind of bready, biscuity, and a little buttery in the aroma. Golden yellow pour. Grainy, biscuity. Clean finish with some light hoppy bitterness. Did not do much for me, the sample I had might have been a tad messed up, because everyone else seemed to like this one.

Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 24, 2008
On tap at Elliott Bay Brew Pub in West Seattle, WA--Light hay colored with a thick fluffy head. Biscuit creamy mild citrus nose. Flaked rice and corn. Spicy Saaz hops finish. Tastes like corn flakes. Yum!
