On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Malt and a touch of honey and yeast spice on the nose. Medium bodied, fruity malt,a bit of yeast. Fruity malt and yeast into the finish, soft plums and warm musk.

On tap @ Elliott Bay West Seattle. Pours cloudy reddish amber with very thin white head. Aroma is sweet fruity light caramel malt. Taste is medium caramel malt, heavy cloying berry fruit notes, and dry very lightly hopped finish. Some good notes here, but really unbalanced and the fruit is applied with a heavy hand. Draft - Sweet cherry, perfume and some Belgian yeast. Cloudy reddish orange with. A decent white head. Malty, cherry and a long cherry finish. Odd, but I like it. Like a weak Flemish red.

Aroma: light apple aroma.
Appearance: almost no initial head with no lacing. Clear, dark-orange body.
Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and moderately sour, apple finish with long duration.
Palate: medium bodied with dry texture and lively carbonation.

Whisky barrel aged version

Red wine and balsamic vinegar, mildly sweet, cherries, layered over with whisky and vanilla. Tasty, genuine Flemish style red, but not something I’d want more than one of.
