Cloudy dark golden color with a off white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Mellow sweetness and a fine bitterness. Semi dry ending. Grapefruit hoppy, bready and fruity flavor. Nice tasty and quite refreshing ale.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Cloudy red-brown with a thin white head. It has a red fruity and citrus flavour followed by oak, blackcurrant and a nutty, smooth finish. Very good.

BeardedAvenger (1124) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2017
Bottle at home, bought at We Brought Beer CJ. Aroma: floral, pine, resin. Some maltyness but predominantly the hops. Dark chestnut. Opaque. Creamy off-white head, although thin in the middle. Light bitter, a small spike in to the finish. Biscuit y at first, vegetables too. The hops then come in to play. However they’re never OTT. Medium bodied. Cream texture, which benefits from soft carbonation. Long dry finish. Leaves a slick mouthfeel and a hoppy aftertaste. Damn drinkable.

Bottle at home, 3rd March 17. Pours murky red brown. Aroma is raw hops, malts, biscuit. Taste is lovely, fresh hops, aromatic, malt, full mouth feel for the low ABV, great depth of flavour. Not dissimilar to Liquid Mistress. My first from Elusive and I am keen to try more.

By gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Winter Beer Festival. Shared with Cunningham. Muddy brown body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the glass. Dark doughy aromas. Hints of pine, dried fruits and dark malts to the flavour character. Malt-fruity bitter endnotes. Satisfying (17.02.2017).

3.6
EdKing (2648) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2017
Bottle from Hop, Burns & Black. Colour is murky, dirty, hazy with a medium off-white foam head which dissipates to the edges. Nose is guava tropical fruit, earthy hop, caramel, biscuit, lots of pine, grapefruit rind, citrus, toasted grains. Taste is guava, toasted grains, menthol, pine, caramel, chalky and flinty minerals. On the finish there’s a lot of the pine and menthol with the guava lingering on the tongue.
