Draft at GABBF. The description of this beer scared me a little, so I figured I better drink up in case we’re all on a collision course. Hazy golden brown color, thin white head. Aroma of funky straw and citrus. Taste starts sweet then spiced with some orange peel. Interesting. Leighton (22823) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2016

Tap at Elysian, Seattle, 27/05/13.
Clear light golden with a thin off white head.
Nose is rich in caramel, dark fruits, light spice, boozey notes, yeast esters.
Taste comprises summer fruits, caramel vein pumping throughout, light yeast notes, sugars, citrus.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light booze notes in a sweetish finish.
Ok tripel, the booze and sugar are fairlt well balanced. mcberko (19880) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 10, 2012
22 oz. bottle, pours a mostly clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of apples, pears, candied sugar, cotton candy, bubblegum and some tea. Flavour of some odd spices and herbs, with dried apples and pears, sort of tea-like quality I suppose, and yeast. Medium complexity with some odd spices which I assume are from the tea.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours golden amber with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma reminds of old fashioned linoleum paste. Fruit, maybe also banana, peppery clove spice. Near full bodied. Flavor is definitely peppery, lightly stone fruit, touch of tropical fruit, and a lot of bitter hop. Finishes very peppery. Pushing the Belgian limits here.
