Cloudy amber color, small creamy head. The aroma is mild, a bit fruity, sour, earthy (soil). Smooth mouthfeel, some malt flavor, the sourness is just hinted, very light Bretts, and a delicate fruitiness and sweetness, probably from the persimmon. Low bitterness.
Pleasant and easy for many palates.
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2014 Slightly dull dark tan, has some sweetness up front, light fruit late. Just the faintest hint of tartness. I guess I don’t understand what I’m drinking, not being familiar with persimmon. mcberko (17170) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
On tap at Tangle Town, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light spices, light tartness and some wheat notes. Flavour of wheat, light sourness, and some mild brett presence. Quite light and not very sour – the persimmon is not very prominent. Decent, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours orange. Nose and taste of wild yeast, lightly soured orange peel, milk sugar, light bread and light funk. Medium body. Mildly sour. Finishes with alcohol soaked persimmon. bhensonb (15079) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bomber from Lets Pour. Pours clear orange gold with a fizzy transient white head. Aroma is faint sour fruit. Med body. Flavor is bready, with a slight earthiness suggesting brett, and some sort of fruit. Obviously persimmon, but I wouldn’t know that on my own. It’s tart/sour, but not strongly so. Finishes that way.
