Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy light amber color; creamy head. Delicate fruity aroma, peaches, hint of elderflower. The mouthfeel is round; the flavor is simple, maybe too sweet for a Saison, and without yeast character, no spices, no elderflower; relatively low bitterness.
Good aroma but simple flavor.

Nothing special at all. I wouldnt say its bad, but I was expecting something more from such an awaited brew.

Draft at Churchkey. Nose and flavor are marked with really nice stone fruit presence including apricot and nectarine, a touch of pineapple, and very subtle floral and herbal notes. Smooth and very drinkable for nearly 7%. Not as dry as I would like for a saison, but still quite tasty.

Enjoyed on-tap @ the Beer Shoppe in Yakima, WA for $4. Tapped from the Elysian Wasteland Tap Handle into a 16oz Beer Shoppe Pint Glass. Aroma- Very pleasant and appropriate for the style. Light coriander and a good amount of spice. Appearance- Received with a .5 finger head that dies immediately. Has an orange, semi hazy body but leaves no lacing behind. Flavor- A huge orange flavor starts this one out and then has the coriander note found in the aroma. No spices found and has a light bitterness level. Mouthfeel- Medium Bodied, Light-Medium Carbonation, Effervescent, and prickles with citrus on the finish. Overall Impression- A very drinkable Saison but didn’t have the greatest appearance... Wouldn’t have guessed it was a beer in this style from it! Otherwise, good citrus/coriander taste and very close to the style in every category.

Draft at Bitter Creek Alehouse in Boise. Dark orange, rich-looking for a "saison." Drinks with a palate-testing blend of interesting character ... a definite spicy, peppery-corriander kick, but blended with an interesting American kick of spicy orange-citric acids, too. I liked it quite a bit. (#4682, 7/7/2012)

Tap at 16 Tons. Hazy amber pour with thin off-white head and little lacing. Extremely floral in both taste and smell, with pepper and coriander chugging along in the background. Very dry finish, quite crisp as well. One of my favorites in the series thus far.
