Dark color for Saison. Looks like IPA. Smells of fruit and herbs, I guess like it should. Medium bodied and full of herbal flavor, but it lacks the rustic character of saison. Too polished and modern. OldMrCrow (2446) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 4, 2012

What is it about American saisons? Even brewed with the Belgian saison yeast this is so unmistakably a US attempt at the style. Sweet and sticky, bubblegum esters, floral atop that presumably from the elderflower. Alcohol higher than it needs to be and well apparent. I was happy enough to drink this but it’s a far cry from the standout exemplars of the style.
Cazeau pwns this hard.
Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured hazy, vibrant orange with an, eggy, white-ish head. This was solid. One of the better I thought from the series. Floral, herbal, tea-like, earthy and spicy. Sort of drying, and a hint of yeast funk with loads of esters. Passionfruit, citrus, tropical fruits, you name it. Super quenching. Nice fruity and floral finish. Bottle with Carla from Newseasons. Pours a lightly hazy orange/gold wiith minimal off-white foam. Smells sweet with hints of honey and wildflowers. Tastes mild and sweet with hints of honey, orange and nectar. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a loose white head. Tangy floral nose with overripe pink grapefruit edges. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, lemon, grapefruit, and floral notes on the mid palate. Tangy sweet finish. Overly sweet, but kind of grows on you.

Draft at Elysian with Linh. Pours a deep, hazy amber body with thin white lacing. Aroma is fresh floral hops and a light sweet fruity malt. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with notes of bubblegum, flowers and fruit. troopie (2501) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JUN 30, 2012
Draught. Possibly served too cold, whatever the aroma was just a faint spiciness. The flavour redeemed that. Full bodied spiciness with a floral note. Spicy finish. Cloudy beer with soapy head. Let this warm and don’t freeze your lines 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUN 30, 2012
Bottle:   Hazy orangish, moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Pale bready nose, slightly floral.   Has a slight lavender aspect.   Fairly assertive fragrant floral flavors on the tongue, but also very bready.   Not bright, fairly moderate, heavy on the breadiness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Very much like an American Saison on the finish, dull floral notes with a strong pale breadiness.   Floral and bready, not too bright but clean.   Wished it were brighter, but as is its still enjoyable.
