Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouvermcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2012
Cloudy light amber color; creamy head. Delicate fruity aroma, peaches, hint of elderflower. The mouthfeel is round; the flavor is simple, maybe too sweet for a Saison, and without yeast character, no spices, no elderflower; relatively low bitterness.
Good aroma but simple flavor.
22 oz. bottle, split several ways, pours a hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is very flowery, with not much traditional other saison-like characteristics, maybe some subtle Belgian yeast - seems quite dry. Flavour is quite floral / flowery as well, with some yeast more subtly. Quite refreshing, and while dry, it’s more sugary than a Belgian saison. Decent, but uninteresting like all the Apocalypse beers so far. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 3, 2013

Amber color, light head. Aroma of yeast and some citrus/tropical fruit. The flavor has a berry note to it, a bit watery but still has a pretty clean and interesting flavor. olio (10269) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 17, 2012
