Pours a hazy yellow coulour with a little white lacing. Aroma off oranges! Smells great! Tastes just like it smell blood orange and grapefruit all the way! This is a really refreshing, nice drink!

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a thick fluffy white head that leaves great lacing. Smells of orange, pine and caramel. Tastes of all the same things but the orange flavor stands out the most and it has a good hop bite. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with a dry finish. Overall this is a great beer, well balanced with great flavor. Of is the second best I?ve had from the Beers of the Apocalypse series so far. colinize (317) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 15, 2012

On tap at St Augustine’s on Commercial Drive. A very orangey color in the glass. Love the citrus flavor on this baby. I’ve had fruit ales that were crap, but this here’s a winner! Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Appearance is a hazy orange supporting a creamy head that subsides, but still available leaving fair lace. Aroma has a sweetness with the orange peel almost like a creamsicle with good whif of the hops. Taste has a big citric orange sweetness countered with a balance from the big hops. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonatrion. A very nice enjoyable stronge ale.

White and frothy head. Hazy, orange-mocha body. Dry, grapefruit and orange flavor. Grainy, but really good. I really enjoyed it. fiulijn (20604) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013

Cloudy deep blond color with medium sized head. Nice grapefruity hop aroma, a bit pungent, quite fresh. Dry mouthfeel, with some toffee flavor; good grapefruit flavor, strong bitterness; there is some orange fruitiness; the orange brings in too much orange bitterness.
A very good strong APA.
Nice orange peel and citrus notes on the nose, a little pale malt sweetness, a touch of toast. Pours amber golden, nice head and lace. Flavors of orange peels, nice citrus hops, pale malts, a hint of sweetness. Fruit is there in the finish and behind the base beer. I really enjoyed this, liked its citrus bitterness and frutiniess. Unique take on an apa. Nice. poisoneddwarf (2568) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Bomber. Pours an ugly cloudy orange--looks like pureed oranges--with a medium off-white lacy head. If it weren’t for that color, the appearance would have gotten a 4. Aroma is very orangey and a bit floral. Taste is bittersweet with an emphasis on bitter. It has an orange flavor, but it’s not extremely noticeable like the beets in Apocalypse #7. It finishes with a slight spicy burn. Mouthfeel has a nice creaminess. It’s good, but so far the least interesting out of these Apocalypse beers I’ve had. Mostly, it just tastes like an IPA. 22oz bottle, shared with Radarsock. Beautiful electric orange completely hazy color. Good thin white head. Good lace. Good smooth lighter carbonation. Medium body. Awesome orange and grapefruit aromas. Good tangy taste, light bitter and sweet, good amount of zest. Nice floral hops. Very much leaning toward IPA. Very nice, I liked this a lot. Great breakfast beer.
