Drought. Amber-orange color, beige creamy head, strong pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, long finish. Pleasing pumpkin beer, in fact best that I’ve ever had. Beerdedone (3404) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2013

Aroma: The aroma is an excellent mix of pumpkin and cinnamon, with some other spices too
Appearance: It pours an orange color with a small off-white head and spotty lace
Flavor: Taste-wise, the cinnamon is quite present and works well with the pumpkin and light hops
Palate: The body is medium, it has a good feel, average carbonation, and a spicy finish
This one is really impressive. It has to be one of the best pumpkin beers I have ever had, and I am a big fan of the style. Excellent stuff. The cinnamon adds a really nice component. I’m excited that I was able to locate a bottle of this one, and I hope they produce it again in the future outside of the Apocalypse series.
From bottle during Oscars, Delightful pumpkin pie flavor with a great spicy kick from the Vietnamese cinnamon. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Bottle - maple and pumpkin nose, has chunks of pumpkin that settle to bottom. Nice blend of spices, pumpkin, and slight heat finish.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty orange with a thin off-white head that disappears by the second sip and leaves very little lace. Very pleasant aroma of cinnamon and pumpkin with notes of vanilla, nutmeg and even a bit of graham cracker. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with the same components and is quite good. Very reminiscent of a pumpkin pie. Well rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. The beer pours an orange color with a small white head. The aroma is extremely heavy on the cinnamon with a little bit of nutmeg and some pumpkin thrown in. The flavor also has a ton of cinnamon in it, but there is also a good bit of brown sugar. The pumpkin is nice as well. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Elysian definitely knows how to make pumpkin beers and this one is no exception. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Cinnamon, pumpkin, apple, pie crust, and some light hoppy bitterness in the finish. Damn good stuff. jredmond (8284) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Draft at blind tiger with Andrew, Brendan and Maggi. Pours a deep amber body with thin white lacing. Aroma is super cinnamon and apple. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of apple pie, cinnamon, light pumpkin, spice and nutmeg. trujahwarrior (510) - Monroe, Washington, USA - DEC 20, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 On tap at Elysian Fields. Pours an amber orange color with a medium white head with good lacing. Smells of cinnamon and a few other spices. Has the same flavors in the smell but has a slight pumpkin flavor in the back end. The cinnamon dominates though. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy. Overall this is a pretty good pumpkin beer but they went a little overboard on the cinnamon in my opinion.
