Bottle:   Dirty amber, dark, some sediment, moderate sandy head, little lacing.   Fairly simple aroma of spices, mainly a woodsy like cinnamon.   Very spicy on the tongue, but very one sided.   Comes across as this earthy and fresh cut tree bark like cinnamon.   Also appears a bit dry.   This one is overly simple in that there isn’t much depth.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes one dimensional, cinnamon, cinnamon, and more cinnamon.   Very interesting in that the cinnamon is a bit different, but still doesn’t make this one a winner.   Tiz okay, but a little difficult to finish a single 22oz by ones self. Dark clear brown/red pour with a thin white head. Aroma is cinnamon. That's about it. Flavor is sharp, spicy and bitter. Cinnamon overwhelms. Sharp and almost acrid. Not very pleasant. Travlr (24913) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Ed, thanks very much! Hazy amber color, white edge head. Aroma is like snorting pure cinnamon, it overwhelms all else. Taste is similar.

Bomber. Appearance is a dark rusted orange and gold color with a thin cap of beige foam. Aroma is predominately cinnamon, graham cracker and pumpkin spice. The flavor is equally strong on the cinnamon and spice notes in addition to some brown sugar, pie crust and pumpkin filling. The body is mildly creamy with medium carbonation and a heavily spiced, alcohol warming finish. Overall, the cinnamon dominates throughout while the pumpkin flavor is rather subtle. Enjoyable but a little over-spiced at times. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - OCT 29, 2012
Rated two nights ago as part of our annual pumpkin beer night. Bomber bought at Yokes Spokane Valley, thanks Anderson01! Pours hazy orange with a collapsing beige head. Aroma consists of nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste is sweet and meaty with a lightly dry bitter finish. Taste is nice and full of pumpkin pie flavor. Bittering hops start to reveal themselves in the finish after warming up a little. A really good pumpkin beer, but it’s not pushing any boundaries like most of the beers in the Apocalypse series by Elysian. blushing_crow (12) - Renton, Washington, USA - OCT 29, 2012
It has a very sweet and spicy pumpkin taste while drinking. Smells like it tastes. Good aftertaste as well. Thoroughly enjoyable. AxlLives (288) - Maryland, USA - OCT 27, 2012
22 oz bottle - pours cloudy brown-orange with smallish white-tan, bubbly head, diminishing with no real lacing. Aromas of peppers, clove, spice, and slightly sour fruit. Medium-light palate with cool tastes, finishing slightly metallic with cinnamon notes. Tastes of creamy orange, nuts, pumpkin becomes more apparent as it warms. Ok, but a bit cool on the flavor profile for a seasonal for my taste. anderson01 (356) - Spirit Lake, Idaho, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Caramel-colored with a head that disappeared rather quickly. Spotty lacing. Pumpkin aroma. Cinnamon overpowered the aroma. Salty sweet taste. Vanilla hints with a cinammon finish. Medium- bodied beer with a slick texture. Not a bad pumpkin beer. Would definitely buy again.
