Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. The beer pours an orange color with a small white head. The aroma is extremely heavy on the cinnamon with a little bit of nutmeg and some pumpkin thrown in. The flavor also has a ton of cinnamon in it, but there is also a good bit of brown sugar. The pumpkin is nice as well. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Elysian definitely knows how to make pumpkin beers and this one is no exception. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Nice Reddish amber in color. Good flavor and added pumpkin. This was full of spices and finished quite nicely. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured copper orange with a thin, off-white head. Nose had straight cinnamon spice. Nice body, mild carbonation. Tasted mostly of cinnamon. One dimensional in that sense. Not horrible, but wish I could get more depth in its other aspects. BillKismet (4064) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Orange-amber appearance with a flat head. Smells like fireball whiskey--spicy cayenne, cinnamon, and alcohol. The body follows through with the spicy cinnamon alcohol flavor with the added dimension of apple cider notes. Jow (3927) - New York, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Tap at the Stagshead pours burnt orange with veige head. Nose of a pumpkin spice packet. tastes of lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, pie crust, pumpkin, vanilla, earth, and light woodiness. pretty dry and a slight different finish.

I’m running out of these beers, and it’s a total bummer. Only 2 more beers of the apocolypse after this. So glad these have held up so well all this time, and would enjoy the hell out of it if I’m the last to ever rate this. Every time I think I’m doing something record breaking, I realize quickly that I am nowhere close. Maybe I’ll win this one. Pours a bright orange with an active fizz head. Aroma is like a cinnamon cookie. Snickerdoodle. Cinnamon spice flavor, slight apple, and pumpkin spice throughout. Bring this one back guys! Awesome. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - FEB 17, 2013
22 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty orange with a thin off-white head that disappears by the second sip and leaves very little lace. Very pleasant aroma of cinnamon and pumpkin with notes of vanilla, nutmeg and even a bit of graham cracker. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with the same components and is quite good. Very reminiscent of a pumpkin pie. Well rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had. Beerdedone (3408) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and some faint pumpkin. Strong cinnamon flavor with nutmeg, cloves and light pumpkin. trapped (3150) - New York, TURKEY - APR 21, 2013
Drought. Amber-orange color, beige creamy head, strong pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, long finish. Pleasing pumpkin beer, in fact best that I’ve ever had. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - OCT 29, 2012
Rated two nights ago as part of our annual pumpkin beer night. Bomber bought at Yokes Spokane Valley, thanks Anderson01! Pours hazy orange with a collapsing beige head. Aroma consists of nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste is sweet and meaty with a lightly dry bitter finish. Taste is nice and full of pumpkin pie flavor. Bittering hops start to reveal themselves in the finish after warming up a little. A really good pumpkin beer, but it’s not pushing any boundaries like most of the beers in the Apocalypse series by Elysian.
