16oz draft at Belmont Station.
A: Reddened copper with a cloud-covered head. Looks fantastic.
N: Cinnamon graham crackers with extra cinnamon. Hints of nutmeg. The pumpkin is hidden underneath.
T: Cinnamon sugar, bread, and alcohol. Some cola flavorings. Not quite up to Elysian’s normal standards as the spices dominate the pumpkin.
M: Somewhat thin, relatively speaking. Wish the pumpkin lent more body.
O: Recommendable for the pumpkin completist or those who like cinnamon hearts. Everyone else will probably be disappointed. robforbes (2279) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - OCT 8, 2012

22 oz. bottle- Pours hazy orange with a thin off white head that reduces to a collar. The aroma is spices and pumpkin, this is more pumpkin pie aroma and less raw pumpkins. The taste is creamy, pumpkin pie, smooth as hell, there is a nuttiness to it. Body is medium, carbonation is moderately high. Overall I was impressed, I really dug the pumpkin pie taste, I can’t get enough of that. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 30, 2012

On tap at Tangletown. Overwhelming cinnamon aroma. Flavor is also dominated by cinnamon. Otherwise, the flavor profile is the same as Night Owl, which I do love. I got a couple hints of alcohol burn.

Dark clear brown/red pour with a thin white head. Aroma is cinnamon. That's about it. Flavor is sharp, spicy and bitter. Cinnamon overwhelms. Sharp and almost acrid. Not very pleasant. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 5, 2013
Beer 9/12 in the Apocalypse Series.
From the label: "Beer #9: BLIGHT will sustain you with an ale of pumpkin, dark brown sugar and a jolt of fiery Vietnamese cinnamon."
Amber with a solid sheet of light cream foam and excellent clarity. No lace. Lots of cinnamon, a bit of malt, but mostly cinnamon, cinnamon and som more cinnamon. Taste carries through with more cinnamon, and a good dose of malty character and some nice bits of sweet molasses. This reminds me of Cocoa Mole "Light". This is the best of all the pumpkin beers Elysian makes. They should replace the Night Owl with this recipe. Medium on full bodied with a nice soft carb and an off dry finish. Good beer. I will buy more.
