From bottle during Oscars, Delightful pumpkin pie flavor with a great spicy kick from the Vietnamese cinnamon. andrewje41 (3752) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - OCT 16, 2015
Iím running out of these beers, and itís a total bummer. Only 2 more beers of the apocolypse after this. So glad these have held up so well all this time, and would enjoy the hell out of it if Iím the last to ever rate this. Every time I think Iím doing something record breaking, I realize quickly that I am nowhere close. Maybe Iíll win this one. Pours a bright orange with an active fizz head. Aroma is like a cinnamon cookie. Snickerdoodle. Cinnamon spice flavor, slight apple, and pumpkin spice throughout. Bring this one back guys! Awesome. THOUGHTS: Tons of Cinnamon. Almost more of a cinnamon beer than a pumpkin beer. Very nice. Basically it tasted like cinnamon sugar toast with pumpkin better spread on it and them some cinnamon added in both the flavor and aroma.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, but slightly hazy, medium to dark, brownish orange or light orangey brown with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had toasted malts, caramel and cake; fruity and sour pumpkin; honey; brown sugar; maple syrup; mostly cinnamon; a little pumpkin, and pumpkin butter. The initial flavor was slightly sour, bitter and acidic, and lightly sweet; while the finish was moderately sweet, slightly sour and acidic, and lightly bitter with an average to long duration. There was pumpkin, lots of cinnamon, honey, cake, toast, caramel, maple syrup more cinnamon, brown sugar, and fruity and sour pumpkin. The medium body was very creamy with fizzy carbonation and a slightly dry finish. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Nice Reddish amber in color. Good flavor and added pumpkin. This was full of spices and finished quite nicely. CampesinoTino (800) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Bomber. Appearance is a dark rusted orange and gold color with a thin cap of beige foam. Aroma is predominately cinnamon, graham cracker and pumpkin spice. The flavor is equally strong on the cinnamon and spice notes in addition to some brown sugar, pie crust and pumpkin filling. The body is mildly creamy with medium carbonation and a heavily spiced, alcohol warming finish. Overall, the cinnamon dominates throughout while the pumpkin flavor is rather subtle. Enjoyable but a little over-spiced at times.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 On tap at Elysian Fields. Pours an amber orange color with a medium white head with good lacing. Smells of cinnamon and a few other spices. Has the same flavors in the smell but has a slight pumpkin flavor in the back end. The cinnamon dominates though. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy. Overall this is a pretty good pumpkin beer but they went a little overboard on the cinnamon in my opinion. blipp (9168) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Cinnamon, pumpkin, apple, pie crust, and some light hoppy bitterness in the finish. Damn good stuff. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. The beer pours an orange color with a small white head. The aroma is extremely heavy on the cinnamon with a little bit of nutmeg and some pumpkin thrown in. The flavor also has a ton of cinnamon in it, but there is also a good bit of brown sugar. The pumpkin is nice as well. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Elysian definitely knows how to make pumpkin beers and this one is no exception. vlan1 (219) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Very little head. Strong nose of Cinnamon and pumpkin. Almost like if Cinnabon made pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Very little head, pours your standgard amber color. Taste is more cinnamon than pumpkin. But not in a spicy burn your palate/throat like some other pumpkin beers. Very good. Very smooth mouthfeel, little carbonation. A very very solid beer overall. 22 oz. bottles from Oliverís Beverage Center, Albany, NY. This bottle is last seasonís. Bottle stored properly in my cellar. Amber orange color in a snifter. Nose is really tempting. Cinnamon apples, yams and a light note of pumpkin. Flavor starts with the Apple cinnamon with yams, pumpkin and light caramel malts in the finish. 7.4 ABV is covered up totally. More fruits and spices rather than pumpkin, yet stil real flavorful.
