Nice bright hoppy nose - citrus, lemon, orange, some grapefruit. Soft subtle toasty and pale malt base. Pours golden amber, thin lasting head, nice clarity. The flavor is dry and hoppy with light sweetness. Nice and juicy fruit and citrus notes. Oranges, lemons. Light pale sweetness. Quenching, flavorful, extremely drinkable. Very good stuff. My Bottom Line:presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 26, 2011
Pineapples, lemons and conifers are evoked by this session Pale Ale’s delightful hop signature, evolving in a crisp, polished mouthfeel where crunchy cereals also shine.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam stands atop the clear honeyed gold.
-This would be phenomenal on cask; the prickly keg carbonation is a bit too intense for my liking.
-The resinous hop bitterness is levelled with the rest of the flavor profile’s medium intensity.
-This is the perfect bridge between craft beer and every man’s brew. Great job!
On tap at the Tangletown location.
Tap. Amber with foamy head. Strong hop scent. Huge hops ride high on the light malt base. Kicks most "light" beers’ ass. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 17, 2011
Draft at the pije street. Pours crystal clear dark gold with a creamy and fairly persistent thin white head. Lots of sheety lace. Nice toasty nose, some lightly floral and tangerine like hop notes as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, herbs, and tangerines on the mid palate. A subtle and expressive ultra light session beer. Mild toasty citrus rind finish. Very flavorful and satisfying.
