Artemis IPA. 6.65% ABV--42 IBU’s. New Belgium Version of Immortal IPA. Floral hops. Dry smooth body. Balanced refreshing end. Mellow nice smooth hoppy IPA. (4.0 / 5.0) Sampled 10/25/2008. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - JAN 17, 2009
Grassy high-res IPA with PNW hops. Gold color, low frothy head. Very thin body, crisp bright hop taste that dissapates quickly. Extra dry, like a martini, which I like, but I wanted more body on this one. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 12, 2009
Seattle - Draft- Nov. 2008: Nice golden color, fizzy carbonation. small head. Kind of a sweet nose. Light grassy taste with a medium bitter aftertaste. Almost sharp. Light hay nose. Thin body. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2008
Bright golden pour with a nice foamy head and sticky lacing. Some butter on the aroma followed by some citrus hops, lemon, lime, orange. Flavors of lemon, lime, orange, butter, and some biscuits. Medium body, light hoppy finish. This would probably be a lot better if the QC took care of the butter. Apparently this one was the first Elysian beer brewed at New Belgium.
carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 6, 2008
Had on tap at the Elysian on Capitol Hill. lightish brown hue with a medium to small off white head. Hops did not stand out from a normal IPA. Palate was a little better than typical Elyisan, which is usually watery. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 22, 2008
Taster - Elysian Tangletown - Seattle, WA
