Bottle at Fort Wayne Tasting courtesy of jsquire. Poured an off-white small head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a golden and orange hue. Nose was malty, sweet, some citrus, and floral hops. Flavor was hoppy, mildly bitter, some citrus and a little sweet. Worthy of a try. jsquire (4537) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - DEC 5, 2006
Amber golden color out of the bottle with a thin white head and a floral/herbal nose. Nice light IPA with honey sweetness, flowers (they say its jasmine and who am I to disagree), clover and orange rind in the finish. It starts to get a little cloying as it warms, but a very enjoyable variation on the IPA. thedm (6275) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 5, 2006
This bottled brew from Jeff Squire at a rating party poured a small sized head of finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The smooth aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops and floral. A decent one that I would consider drinking again. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 3, 2006
bottle at the Fort Wayne tasting - Pours lightly hazy copper with a thin head. It has a light aroma of citrus and flowers. The taste is really different. The expected bitterness is there, though mild for the style, but you can also really taste the jasmine. I’d suggest trying it just for something different. kenb (1102) - Oregon, USA - NOV 25, 2006
22 OZ bottle via Liquid Solutions (thanks!) .Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Not detecting much in the nose, just some subtle jasmine. Taste is strong jasmine and some citrus hops on an almost adequate malt backbone. This is actually very smooth and easy to drink..as long as you are a fan of Jasmine of course. Better than i was expecting. Refreshing and easy to drink. it is cold here today, but i bet this would be an awesome beer on a hot summer day!

#943, Bottle purchased from Sams in Chicago. This is a big bottle, bomber, and it really is too much for one person to drink. Hazy medium copper with a thin white head for a rim. Good carbonation that provides continuous bubbles flowing to the top. THe nose is very flowery, grainy and earthy. The taste is intially very bitter, sharp with flowers. Kind of what I imagine chewing on a Jasmine leaf would be like. Kind of abrasive. BillKismet (4090) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 19, 2006
Decent amber color, moderately hopped aroma and flavor with a hint of jasmine. Balanced, tasty, and highly drinkable. Seemed to enjoy the 2005 version over the 2006 one. jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 9, 2006
GABF-on tap-pours a white head with hazy amber color. Aroma is jasmine-floral. Taste is more malt than hops. Walt (2449) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 15, 2006
Pour is golden hazy amber with a thin white head...warm spicy aroma...nice sweetness with jasmine weaving into the flavor throughout with a nice bittersweet finish... BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - OCT 7, 2006
Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Pours a hazy orangy golden hue topped by a small but lasting frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of mild resiny and spicy hops, flowers, candi sugar, dusty yeast esters and mild citric vapours. The palate is greeted by pungent grapefruit and lemon zest citric notes supported by a a leafy and herbal component with I guess would be accented by the addition of the Jasmine. Get just a smack of white pepper and clove towards the metallic finish with a bitter aftertaste. The mouth feel is lively but not aggressive, a bit papery and dusty. Okay a worth a try even if it is mostly a run-of-the-mill IPA.
