Bottle at Craig’s. Pours golden amber, flowery and fruity, sweet toffee, floral. BeerandBlues2 (13349) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear orange with an average, frothy ivory head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (caramel, toasted, cereal), heavy hops (floral, herbal, grassy), and average esters (apple/pear) with heavy notes of jasmine. Flavor is average malt (caramel, toasted, cereal), heavy hops (floral, herbal, grassy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of perfumed jasmine. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation, low creaminess with a dry finish. The jasmine is way overdone in this beer, leaving it a perfume bomb that I could not finish. Sample at the Pike Street location. This brew is a clear light orange color with a medium thin and creamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Sheets of lacing. The aroma is floral and herbal with notes of citrus in the background. Medium-bodied with a welcoming floral character (jasmine of course) and flavors of sweet toasted malt and citrus. Some hops are present as well. The finish is mildly hoppy with the jasmine flavor lingering. Overall this is an interesting beer, yet I am not sure if it is something I would want to enjoy as more than a sample. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 15, 2007
(Bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of a flower garden and some orange. Flavor of floral hops and caramel malt with a soft, creamy mouthfeel. I find these beers brewed with flowers kind of intriguing.
