Bottle [12oz] . Pours a slightly hazy gold with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Some lacing. Odd aroma of tomato paste, herbs, yeast, pear and white pepper -- or something like that. Flavour is only slightly more straightforward, with yeast, herbs, a bit of tomato paste, white pepper and wheat. Medium bodied. An odd one indeed, not for me.

At a tasting, thanks Yoav, a touch hazy light orange colour, aroma of popcorn, peanuts and hay, sweet candy jammy flavour and a coarse bitterness, much too sweet and unbalanced. One dimensional and uninteresting. DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 3, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Yoav. Hazy golden. Yeasty and slightly spicy aroma with a bit of fruity esters. Spicy and yeasty flavor, somewhat sweet, with a bit of fruitiness and a slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied. corpsuckle (101) - Washington, USA - JUN 22, 2013
This beer doesn't particularly compare to an abbey tripel as it purports, but it's a good ale that I keep stocked in my fridge as kind of a flavorful session beer. solidfunk (9734) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Has some nice hops. Pours clear orange with good head and lacing. Foamy head. Has citrus and some malt in the aroma. Almost more like a session IPA than a tripel. Finishes a little sour, a little sweet but more light sourness than anything. Average carbonation. Bottle.

Nice rich bronze coloured body with a copper glow and a thick dense tan head. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed and a bit of apples and pear sweetness. Medium-bodied; Strong yeast flavour with bits of wheat, coriander seed and some light hay and grassy hop flavours with some pleasant light sweetness. Aftertaste is nice and light for a tripel, but showing good wheat and yeast flavours with some mild sweetness. Overall, a nice lighter tripel but also with some good complexity - nice to sample, even though this beer is from the Mainland! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska for US$1.80 on 23-May-2013 sampled two days later in my hotel room here in Anchorage, Alaska on 25-May-2013. Pours an almost clear medium yellow with a foamy frothy head. Aromas fruity (tangerine, bubblegum), hoppy (grass, hay), with just a touch of caramel behind. Flavors fall short of aromas of light tangerine, grass, and hay. Light bitter aftertaste, slightly watery on palate, lightly sweet. A slightly above the average triple with a slightly distinctive "tangerine" like note. pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - MAR 31, 2013
From bottle. Golden color. Light yeast and sweet aroma. Hints of bubblegum, light malt, soft peppery spice, and a little sweetness. Not as hearty as a traditional tripel, more like a strong saison. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Yellowish blonde in color with a thick white head hazy. Thick aroma tons of esters and lots of fruit and Belgian yeast in the beer. Very tasty and drinkable tripel. Dogbrick (14326) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Sample at the Pike Street location. The beer pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, yeast and citrus. Medium body with flavors of citrus, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is fruity with a yeast and banana aftertaste. Decent overall.
