Clear amber color with white head. Nice toasted malt, nutty, caramel aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Nutty, toffee flavors with a mild earthy astringence--smooth finish----not bad.
A very nice creamy ale. Pours a boring clear orange with a white head. Smells like peanuts and vanilla. Taste is very smooth and extremely creamy. More peanuts in the taste. Refreshing and creamy at the same time. Good! Had on tap at the brewpub.

Tap at Elysian, Seattle, 27/05/13.
Clear light golden with a medium sized off white head.
Nose is toasted malts, light caramel, bread dough.
Taste comprises popcorn, toasted malt, grain, light sugars.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish.
Drinkable average fayre, nothing to love, nothing to hate! riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Toasted caramel brown bread notes on nose. Soft earthy hop. Pours dark amber thin offwhite head. Flavors of toasted brown bread caramel and earthy floral notes. Standard amber somewhat uninteresting. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Draft at fields. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a loose white head. Spotty lace. Toasty caramel nose with light herbal overtones. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toasty caramel mid palate with light herbal hop in the finish. Dozens of examples of this beer pour here and there, and you and i have had them many times by now. Not bad, not memorable. Solid choice for the newly christened beer tourist.

Nice looking amber beer decent head. As advertised, pleasant toasted amber malts in the nose in the body. Hops take a backseat, yet provide balance. Falls somewhere between a PNW amber and APA, with malts emphasized over hops. The best attribute of this beer is balance, as the light waves of toasted amber grains never dull the palate. This one makes for a great session brew. keepersj12 (3133) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Nice amber ale. Roasted and toasted malts are all over the place. In the aroma and flavor. Biscuit, yeast, some caramel. Sweet but not overly so. Very easy drinking, smooth and tasty.
