Bottle shared by KBL. Pours an opaque orange copper with some sediment and great lacing. Resinous pine aroma with a touch of vanilla, oak, and orange. Pine flavour has a medicinal bite to it, citrus, sweet malts, oak, and noticeable booze. Medium-bodied, starts with IPA character them halfway through lands on the palate smoothly like a barleywine, nice carbonation and a little warmth. Worth a try. Oak Aged Imperial IPA 8.8%
Red amber in color with a very light beige head and a sweet grapefruit and caramel with oak aroma. It kind of evokes a barley wine for me.
I paired it with the day’s special an apple chicken grilled cheese. That was a success as it played off the crisp sweet apples really well.

Pours a slightly cloudy, deep copper, with white head. Aroma of hops and wood. Taste is slightly hoppy, with notes of oak and vanilla. Smooth and very drinkable. This is a very good IPA, thumbs up! pinkzambia (2124) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 18, 2017
Tap @ Bardenay: Clear gold with a white fizzy head. Sweet floral hop aroma. Full body with lots of hops and a sweet finish. RickReallyBrew (112) - Franktown, Colorado, USA - SEP 7, 2017
This is a serious beer. I loved the Savant Blanc at 8%, which is delicious but deceiving in that the 8% ABV is not obvious. The gravity, malt and Hop in this grog is nothing short of imperial. I have been drinking beer in all of the best places this week in Seattle. This one is up there in the top three I've had.

Amber color, opaque. Toffeish malt permeates tha aroma. Medium sweet and strong body, caramel flavor, some malt depth, resiny hops, a bit woody.
Not bright IIPA, but a solid beer nevertheless.
Bomber. Pours a clear reddish hue with a small white head. A big caramel malty sweet nose. Light tannic oak, caramel, berries, pine. Toffee and bitter fresh hops. Really a lot like a early ASA. And I dig those! Very nice. Bitter and sweet. monk191 (2022) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 19, 2017
A nice all around aged IPA. Pours a nice deep red with a white head. You can smell the oak, along with some spices and herbs. Taste has oak as well, bit of smoke, herbs and a nice balanced finish. Had in the bottle.
