Tap (Nitro) at Elysian Fields, Seattle - 09/11/12.
Mid black with a big tan head that retains well, good lacing ensues.
Nose is dry roast malt, mineral tones, light chocolate, barley.
Taste follows exactly.
Light medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation lending towards a roast finish.
Usual Nitro - Shitro, looks good, feels good on the palate but lacks in smell and flavour! Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2007

Very dark brown with a thick nitro head. Tartness and cheap coffee on the nose. Light and sweet flavour, just a very mild roastiness. A hint of tartness late. A really quick, knock ’em out style. It’s not that they didn’t do a good Guinness, it’s just that when you aim low it doesn’t mean much when you succeed.
"a slightly better than average dry stout. it manages too be a little bit more flavorful and the blend of roasted coffee, chocolate, and the hint of "bracing tartness" all went well together."

Nitro pour at Blind Tiger. Black beer with a thick lasting beige head. Aroma is toasty and lightly chocolatey. Dark bitter chocolate and a fairly prominent roastiness. Flavour is okay, soft roastiness, earthy with a lightly fruity estery character as well. Pretty decent, really. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUN 2, 2007
Draft at Elysian Fields. Pours deep black with a thick and creamy tan head. Vacant nose. Plenty of lace. Nitro-esque pour and far too hollow on the attack and the mid-palate, but there’s a bit of sweet chocolate there, along with a nice spicy hop in he finish, so all is not lost. On nitro Tap At Elysian Fields Seattle. Pours out a creamy dark brown topped with a tan head. Aroma was of coffee and some dark roast malts. Taste was dark roast, a light smoke, some bitterness at the end. Not bad. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - OCT 14, 2009
Nitro pours black with a viscous tan head. Nice dry blackened malty aromas with some black coffee. Creamy smooth mouthfeel. Classic flavor is dry black malts with a mildly bitter finish. Decent enough.@ Tangletown. riversideAK (6260) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2009
Nose is dark and roasty with a hint of burnt malts and lightly tart. Pours dark brown, more or less black with a huge creamy tan head. The flavor is roasty and burnt with a subtle light sweetness and a hint of tartness from the portion of sour mash. Easy drinking yet flavorful. Smooth carbonation. Rather enjoyable IMO.
