COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It drips with tropical, sunshiny Mosaic, and twinkles with touches of Eldorado and Centennial. A touch of wheat hazes the malt bill a bit around the edges and the IBUs are stuck in the mid-sixties. SG 16•P/1.064

My bottle says 7.4 %abv. It pours a light gold, not much foam, going going almost gone. Pine, grapefruit, kinda tropical fruit going on. I can’t smell any malt. Taste is true to the smell. I feel the bitterness level is a bit high without the saving graces of any malt. I gave it chances to improve over time. Fail. Not bad, not what I like.

Bottle 7.4%. Light hazed orange.Light cap. Light lace. Strong juicy tropical citrus and some pine. Some sweet buiscuity/bready malt. Same in taste, bigger citrus. Pine citrus pretty stronger than average bitter. Overall bitter seems harsh, so overall and taste makes marks down as an ipa I wouldnt go to that often. Normally I like big bitter, maybe my palate is off.

Restrained tropical aroma in a hazy golden amber pour. Hop forward balance with a tropical fruit body and sustained bitter finish. An excellent example of the style (West Coast IPA) and another benchmark in my book.

unclemike (3124) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - JUL 18, 2017
A medium amber beer with moderate whitish head. Citrus piney nose. This is an astringently resinous, somewhat citrus, hop forward beer with a bit of a malt note in the background. Bitter resinous finish.

May 9, 2014 - at Blue Monk, on draught. Slightly hazy amber-gold with a decent creamy white head. Stunning aroma - cannabis, pungent cattiness, citrus zest, light tropical fruit malt - so good. Taste follows, intensely pungent (quite a lot of background sweetness to the malt) - more floral and less resin character. Dry, alcoholic mouthfeel - solid body and carbonation, with a long, pungent crisp finish - solid, solid stuff - 4+

Fruity, dry, refreshing. Very hoppy, but the tropical flavors in the background really help balance it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice balance of bitter and floral. Smooth on the palate but lacking aroma. Out of bottle, think possibly served too cold. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
