UPDATED: FEB 20, 2015 Pours dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malt, cocoa, dark dried fruit, oak, and boozy aroma. Dark dry roasted malt aroma with cocoa and dark dried fruit. Oak and boozy flavor that tastes like this beer was aged in a tequila barrel. Dark roasted finish. skoisirius (1908) - Earth, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Tap at The Pub a few weeks back. Big boozy raisin filled nose, hints of roast and grains. Big flavor palate with lots of sweet grains up front. Singes of booze and hops blended together in the mid-palate with dark fruits and raisins coming in on the finish. Could be a touch more full, but pretty dank. 10 oz pour on draft in a goblet at Frisco Tap House Crofton. Black with thin light tan head. Aromas of wheat, dark fruit, dark chocolate. Tastes of dark chocolate, wheat and floral notes, light booze, dark fruit and raisins. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Dogbrick (13986) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Sample at the Pike Street location. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium thin creamy beige head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma is roast malt, wheat and fruit. Full-bodied and a little syrupy with flavors of charred malt, dark wheat and ripe fruit. The finish is malty with a slight alcohol burn left behind. Decent overall. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 6, 2013

Nice looking. Flavors of burnt wheat bread chocolate earthy bittetness. Definite wheat. Like a strong burnt american wheat ale which i guess a wheat wine is more or less. Interesting. Warming alcohol in finish. Smooth creamy full. Weird beer good idea. Lingering dry earthy roasted notes.

Draft at the pike street. Pours jet black with a dense and creamy grayish tan head that sticks around. Nose is an odd mix of burnt malts, acetobacter wheat tangy sour, and fruity hops--kinda orangey. All great tastes, not sure how they’re working together. Kind of a black ipa wheat wine happening. Dense thick body, sluggish carb. Roasty, lightly tangy, and fruity. Not bad, not great.
