a standard wit (no surprises) but put together well and not as boring as I sometimes find the style to be. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2009
11/11/08 On draft at Elysian Fields, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is coriander forward with an orange candy background. Appearance is hazy yellow orange with a well maintained white head. Flavor is a bit yeasty for style, bit with a good spice bite, both from the orange and the coriander. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a substantial carb texture. Overall, quite good, but has some german hef yeast character. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2008
Aroma is very citrusy with orange and lemon fruit loops and a soft touch of wheat and spice. Pours a light orange yellow with a minuscule head. Light flavors of wheat, citrus(lemon and orange), and a soft spice. Light bodied and quenching. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 28, 2008
On tap at the Fields in Seatown--Soapy golden body with a small creamy white head. Grainy, gritty, crisp, floral, wheaten, and semi-sweet. Citrus bite in the finish with some sweet sugar and honey flavors. PilsnerPeter (3046) - Flushing, New York, USA - JUL 7, 2008
Tap at Barcade: Cloudy light golden with a fizzy white film for head. Aroma is coriander and lemon, with a touch of wheat malt sharpness. Nice and bright. Fizzy body. Flavor is bright as well. Nice coriander presence and soft citrus notes. Has a touch of honey as well, making it reminiscent of honeysuckle. An easy going and well made Witbier.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Cloudy yellow beer with a white head. Aroma is very citrusy and loaded with coriander. Flavour is the same, all coriander with no real yeastiness or subtlety at all. Bright coriander flavour with a touch of soapiness that comes from that as well. Malts are a bit muted and not all that good. A touch of wheatiness, but not much. I can’t say I’m a fan of this one. BT. Pours a nice hazy blanche with a thin lasting white head and some lace. Aroma is spicy, yeasty, phenolic- light clove but medium amounts of bubblegum, and lemon zest- slight soapyniess. Flavor is a bit slick and thin- wheaty doughy, orange rind, lemon, yeasty phenols, and a slight tartness in the end with a weak finish. Ok witbier, but it is lacking a bit of body, and just didnt excite me too much. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 26, 2008
Tap at Blind Tiger. Beautifully murky pour like the best Fantomes. A good spiciness in the aroma is complimented by some awesome and atypical grapefruit. Nice bready flavor with a ton of yeast and unfortunately some diacetyl. Overall a nice drinker though. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - JUN 26, 2008
On tap at the Blind Tiger. Hazy blonde in color with a small well retaining white head. nice appearance. Aroma: Citrus/Lemon rind, wheat, musty belgian yeast. Taste is lightly estery, with light banana, citrus, spices- citrus rind, lightly musty, a touch of light malty sweetness and a tart wheaty finish. Well done. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUN 16, 2008
Draft at Elysian Fields. Pours cloudy bright golden with a dense but shallow platinum blonde head. Minimal lace. Bright candied herbs on the nose, smells sweet and pungent. Creamy medium body, refreshing. Forward flavor of basil. Yeah. Basil. Not much else. After the rather monochromatic effort at herbs and spices, the flavors fall away to fairly well nothing and the finish is not much. Has a lot going for it in the way of appearance and mouthfeel. Needs some work on flavor and aromatics.
