On tap at The Mayor of Old Town. Clear bronze appearance with a lingering white head. Somewhat mild aroma of toasted grain, nutty malts, light spices, light chocolate and a hint of cinnamon and peaches. Similar flavor, mild and a little bland with an average body. Draft pour at the Great Pumpkin beer fest. I’ve heard about this beer for a long time, and didn’t think I’d ever get to try. Lucky me. Pours a clear golden color with a thin patchy head. Viciously sweet aroma. 10% pumpkin 90% sugar sweet fruit. Mellows out in the finish. Alright. IndianaRed (5059) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 28, 2014
On Tap at BitterCreek Alehouse, Boise. Cloudy deep orange with a thin wispy white lacing traced, Some nice sweet pumpkin spice and fruit aroma. Not much but balanced I suppose. Malty and lightly spicy with pumpkin pie notes and a touch of the peach that is mentioned. Decent. beastiefan2k (4122) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - OCT 11, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2014 5oz pour at 2nd annual Peche Fest @ Saraveza Bottle Shop & Pasty Tavern. Fourth beer of the fest. This was definitely going to be a make-it-or-break-it beer. Sounds like a potentially nice twist on a boring pumpkin style. Well, it turned out to be even crappier. Dirty dishwater mixed with pumpkin spices. I get no peach and no wild character. Just muddled, faintly pumpkin spiced beer. I found it dumb to waste my time with this beer.
