Bottle:   Orange hued straw, slight haze, moderate white head, decent lacing.   Oh boy, I can already tell too much Ginger was used.   Oh yah, pretty much nothing but Ginger in this one.   Slight grassiness on the backside, but gotta wade through a lot of Ginger before you get there.   Pumpkin, what pumpkin?   As it warms I get more and more of a Ginger Pledge like aroma, or maybe even one of those fancy urinal cakes.   This one does not work for me.   If you like Ginger, or maybe even Wasabi, you will probably like this one.   Ugh... dmac (6395) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - NOV 17, 2012
22oz bomber from a 4pack bomber sampler of "Pumpkin" beers. Okay I’m not killing myself with this review. Poured an okay looking cloudy sraw gold with a smaller white foamy head. Aroma is basically all ginger with some grains and toast. Medium to fuller bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Flavor is like the aroma and just loaed with ginger. This seems more like a beer that Hitachino Nest should have brewed and there is nothing but ginger spices going on. bierkitty (167) - Elysburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Hazy light yellow with a hoppy ginger aroma. Light and clean with a lot of saaz pepper and ginger. Interesting style for a pumpkin beer. jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2012

Aroma: It is super heavy on the ginger, with some underlying notes of other spice and citrus
Appearance: It pours a cloudy yellow color with a foamy bright white head and spotty lacing
Flavor: The taste is a little sweet, lots of ginger, a little bit of spice, and a nice crisp hoppy finish
Palate: The body is fairly smooth, crisp, and clean, it drinks really nicely, and has clean, dry finish
Quite interesting beer. There’s a heck of a lot of giniger in this one, and I didn’t really taste much pumpkin at all. Somehow, it works quite well.
Bomber and draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy canary with 1-finger white clingy head. Nose is ginger, coriander, orange zest, Saaz hops. Tastes very spice, gingery, with coriander, orange zest, Saaz hops, and pale malt. I didn’t get much pumpkin in this, but overall it’s not bad, although a bit too spicy. Quite an interesting brew here. Definitely need to enjoy ginger to like this one. Can’t taste much pumpkin, definitely ginger though. I enjoyed it. pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Tap at Green Dragon. More ginger than any beer I’ve had...including ginger beers. Spicy and yummy. blushing_crow (12) - Renton, Washington, USA - OCT 31, 2012
This beer smells very good, nice scent of ginger. Appearance is a nice golden color. The taste is very overwhelmingly of ginger and leaves a strong ginger aftertaste. Not bad but not favorite. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Wow, where do I start with this one. Poured a bright yellow color with a white head. Aroma was straight lemon pledge and nothing else. Taste was the same but stronger and worse, with pilsner malt barely there. The most offputting thing I think ive ever drinken. Ginger and vomit.
