Draft. Cloudy yellow color, massive white head, solid lacing. Aroma of ginger is detectable from across the room. Taste is heavy ginger, lemon, dust. Rough stuff. Oakes (17697) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 27, 2007
Hazy blond kind of like Christoffel. Pale malt nose with light ginger. Extra ginger - the assertive ginger is a riot, the hoppy snap is fun...nice brew. So untraditional but yet so tasty, even when viewed as a pils (which nominally it is intended to be). argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 16, 2012

Sample at Kurtkeller 001: Pumpkin-tastic 01 on 11/22/2013. Pours a hazed yellow color with a medium thick bubbly white head that evaporates gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ginger and malt. Light-bodied with lots of ginger flavor up front, along with some toasty malt and hops behind it. The finish is akin to ginger ale with a spiced aftertaste. Decent overall. hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 9, 2012
On tap at Capone’s. Poured a golden / amber color with an off white head. Pumpkin pie spices, pumpkin, with some grassiness. A little toasty as well. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 2, 2014
"i’m not sure what the deal was here...the first half of the description sounds exactly like the GP ale, but this was far more boring, and the 50 50 ginger pumpkin balance in the other beer was more like 90-10 in this one. i like ginger but the pumpkin needed to come out more here. but overall, a nice little pilsner. could go the way of the spiced ale too, but you could definitely tell it was a pils." daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 16, 2014
Nasty. Nasty. Nasty. Tastes like the worst ginger ale you can imagine. Drain pour. Just awful. DocLock (10704) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Bomber and draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy canary with 1-finger white clingy head. Nose is ginger, coriander, orange zest, Saaz hops. Tastes very spice, gingery, with coriander, orange zest, Saaz hops, and pale malt. I didn’t get much pumpkin in this, but overall it’s not bad, although a bit too spicy.
