Nasty. Nasty. Nasty. Tastes like the worst ginger ale you can imagine. Drain pour. Just awful. JoeMcPhee (10131) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2008
Tap at Blind Tiger. Very pale straw coloured brew topped by a thick white head. Aroma is lightly herbal and grassy. There is a kiss of a slightly vegetal (pumpkin?) character but it is quite subtle. As it warms, this comes up a bit along with a kiss of ginger/clove and light pumpkin. Flavour however, shows a nice noble hop flavour. Fairly yeasty and a bit lemony. Further warming pulls up a bit of light spiciness that seems like a mix of spice and hops. Flavour is quite zesty with just a hint of something else. I thought this might be an overspiced pumpkin beer, but it’s really an exercise in restraint, producing a subtle twist on an otherwise pretty nice pils. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2013
[5088-20130202] Tap. Herbal fresh gingery aroma. Hazy, orange brown body with a quick creamy white head. Spicy ginger grains flavour. Medium body is super gingery. Tasty and bitter but all ginger. (7/3/7/4/16) 3.7

4oz sampler at the Snallygaster event. Eh, this one was funky - no so much pumpkin but a ginger beer, and there’s simply too much ginger in this one to enjoy. Next time go to have sushi and jam all the shaved ginger into your mouth, that’s this beer. Otherwise finely carbonated. They’d be better off re-branding this as a "ginger" beer, not a pumpkin one. Tap, murky straw pour, not much head or lace to note.Tons of ginger, not much pumpkin, tons of spice, and weird notes. All I get out of this is ginger. Pilsners have zero flavor to begin with so this one was no different with zero pumpkin coming through.

Draft at Elysian Great Pumpkin Beer Fest (GPBF) 08. Crystal clear medium gold with a light white head. Nutty, earthy, leafy nose. Light watery body with some fizz. Nut, earth, and leaf return on the mid-palate. Mild finish. A shockingly good little beer. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 1, 2011
On tap on Falling Rock. Pours with a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aromas of ginger, wheat , candied ginger, spicy, ginger ale, earthy. Flavors are peppery, a bit vegital and quite gingery (all aspects). Medium to lively bubbles a bit of pepper left on the palate. Spicy. chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2010
On tap at the 2009 Great Pumpkin Festival, Cambridge Brewing Company, Cambridge MA on 31 October 2009 at 4.5%. Quite pale gold colour. Not much evident "pumpkin" character. Not a huge amount of ginger in the aroma either. More of a bready/cereal character reminiscent of muesli. Ginger is more apparent in the flavour but still quite subtle. Slightly metallic, flinty (but soft) mouthfeel. Overall perfectly acceptable but lacking in excitement.

Hazy amber with a biege head. Huge grassy, ganja smoke aroma with mild ginger root. Medium body. Good medium sweet lager malt base brew meshing nicely with sharp ginger and spicy hops. [email protected]
