Tap at Green Dragon. More ginger than any beer I’ve had...including ginger beers. Spicy and yummy. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Quite an interesting brew here. Definitely need to enjoy ginger to like this one. Can’t taste much pumpkin, definitely ginger though. I enjoyed it. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Bomber and draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy canary with 1-finger white clingy head. Nose is ginger, coriander, orange zest, Saaz hops. Tastes very spice, gingery, with coriander, orange zest, Saaz hops, and pale malt. I didn’t get much pumpkin in this, but overall it’s not bad, although a bit too spicy. Bottle. Slightly opaque pale amber with a medium white head. Aroma is mostly ginger, with some light citrus. A lot of ginger in the taste as well, which is medium-heavy bitter, and surprisingly not very sweet, very vegetal. Finish is very bitter with a little spice. Not bad, good change of pace from your typical pumpkin beer, but needs to be sweeter. Maverick34 (3393) - New York, USA - OCT 4, 2008
Draft @ blind tiger. Lighter amber. A pretty nice blend of pumpkin and pils. Not a lot to say other than that.

On tap on Falling Rock. Pours with a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aromas of ginger, wheat , candied ginger, spicy, ginger ale, earthy. Flavors are peppery, a bit vegital and quite gingery (all aspects). Medium to lively bubbles a bit of pepper left on the palate. Spicy. sonnycheeba (6561) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with thick, frothy off-white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is orange peel, herbs, spice, coriander, ginger, citrus hops, biscuit malt, and some straw. Flavor is heavy ginger and dry malts, citrus esters and hops, and floral notes; dry finish with persistent ginger. Medium body and carbonation. Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is heavy ginger, light vegetal pumpkin, biscuit and cracker malt. First impression: Heavy on the ginger.
Overall pretty tasty. Went well with a pumpkin, cream soup (with maple cinnamon bacon).

Bomber from Capones. Pale yellow with a white head that fades fairly quickly. Ginger (both ground and fresh rind), light pumpkin, very little spice (nice change). Mild body with huge ginger, moderate carbonation, light, ginger is the overwhelming flavour, slightly harsh ginger bite on the finish a bit of earthy vegetable on the finish too. If you like ginger you may like this - otherwise avoid.
