Big fan of Elysian. This is a limited release lager. Great flavor and finish. For people who are fans of lagers this is a great choice. Currently on draft at The Dock-Fremont andrewje41 (4344) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2015
UPDATED: APR 21, 2016 Draft pour pint at the fields location. Right after the harshest of Mariners losses. Pours a clear golden color with a thin patchy head. Soft grain aroma.. Flavor is grain up front, with mild corn and citrus. I’ll take it over other Mexican lagers, if I can come close to calling it that. Light body, easy beer. Not bad. Rerate: I’m sitting at the Mexican restaurant in my home town that I grew up. I went to this restaurant likely a hundred times growing up, and never knew what the bar looked like. 20 oz pint glass of American Mexican lager in a room that smells like it has been dipped in a vat of tequila. It’s so strong that this beer tastes like it. The second time around on this beer is a far different experience than the first. Thicker body than before. Watery, lemon, grassy like flavor, but hinted. Orange flavor too. Way too much flavor to be a Mexican lager. I actually enjoy the fact that those lagers are so refreshing on a hot day. So light and crisp that there is not enough flavor for it to be offensive. This has the flavor the others lack, but it lacks interesting quality, and the refreshing element. Decent qualities I guess, but this is the kind of beer I feel like I would drink when I hit rock bottom with my luck at a casino. gnoff (11065) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2015

Clear golden color, white head. Malty, grainy taste. Grainy aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Malty, grainy scent.
On tap at Bitterroot. Pours a clear gold with visible carbonation and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and sweet grain with a bit of crispness. Flavor has sweet grains throughout with straw and bread underlying. mcberko (19175) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2015
On tap at Elysian Capitol Hill, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light, with lightly spicy hops, not much else. Flavour is clean and crisp, with very lightly spicy hops and a crisp crackery malt backing. Clean and refreshing, but not very interesting.

Wow, they replicated this almost perfectly. And by replicated, I mean took the Mexican lager and actually made it great! Corny and watery, with a hint of sweetness, they served this on tap at the Tangletown location with a lime! Would love this in 6er’s in the summer! Judged on it being good for what it is. Very clear yellow. Med body, which is surprising for mex style lager. Made especially for Poquitos on Cap Hill apparently. Bartender said it?s slightly bready...I guess I get some of that. Would reach for it instead of Dos equis. ACHops (1665) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 9, 2013
On tap @ Edgar’s Cantina @ Safeco Field. Pours pale golden with thin white head. Aroma is thin malt with only notes of corn discernible. Taste is smooth thin earthy malt with corn and light pepper notes on the finish. Quite a departure from the usual Elysian fare, and much less flavorful than mist of their ales. Still, a HUGE upgrade over Corona or Pacifico or whatever crummy Mexican lager this is substituting for. gmellison (428) - Colorado, USA - AUG 12, 2013
On tap at tangletown. Pours a clear yellow with almost a green tinge (which may be due to the lime). Really refreshing, almost salty taste. kaser (6409) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Poured from tap at the Elysian brewery in Capitol Hill/Seattle. Just a run of the mill pilsner. No sign of corona taste. Easy drinker
