Draft at Brouwer’s. Pours hazy gold, cloudy like Fresca. Aroma is big and piney, with citrus, grapefruit, a little dank, and even a bit earthy (aside: really, I’m picking up this moldy cheese thing in a lot of fresh ipas these days ... It’s here too, but everybody else just says "juicy" so I guess I’ll use that as my euphanism). Light body. Creamy. Reasonably dry. Carbonation is softer than expected, which comes across a shade thin, but nice and easy. Surprisingly muted bitterness in the finish (oh wait, there it is - takes awhile to build). Oranges and cream. Even just a little hint of roast / toast, like grass that’s just been lit up and is now smoldering. Overall: this is really nice! Sammy (12984) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 8, 2014
On tap at Bottleworks. Good drinkability. Spot on IPA at less than 5% abv. Worth a try. Good retained head and floral hops. mcberko (19805) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2014
On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours a cloudy creamsicle orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out peaches, piney and floral hops. Flavour is dry and light, full of flavour, with loads of dry piney hops, and citrus zest. Highly drinkable and dry. Excellent stuff. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 8, 2014
Draft at brouwers. Pours a cloudy pale amber with a loose white creamy head that lasts forever. Big sweet piney and grapefruity nose. Creamy light body with lively carb. Rich oily hop showcase on the mid palate. Pine, grapefruit, oranges. Long dry resin finish.
