Crystal clear light amber pour topped by a slice of white. Not particularly intense, but still hop-forward nose in which a wide array of tropical fruits meets grapey, woodsy, strongly citrusy aromas for which you could enumerate on and on flavor descriptives. Impressively complex hop profil for a single hop IPA. Bright and acidic flavour profile where perhaps more crystal malts than I would like aim at maintaining the balance and certianly attenuate the bitterness perception, but handicap the aroma at the same time. Spicy, woodsy, sandy, fruity, citrusy bitterness is pleasant, leading to the next sip and would rhyme with outstanding drinkability were it not for the above average sweetness. Still, the straightforward flavour extraction is pleasant enough and the beer is globally very clean. It makes for a good quaffer on a hot summer day. r464 (2377) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Deep copper color with a foamy tannish color head. Strong, fruity, floral with citrus and a nice, slightly bitter finish that leans strongly towards the hops. stantheman (1104) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 28, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2013 Shared bottle at eTap on Howe St in Vancouver. This is very highly tilted toward hops. Citrus hop flavors predominate, but there’s a malted aftertaste as well. Maybe the best hoppy IPA I’ve ever had!

Fresh sample on tap at Malone’s in Vancouver. A turgid and murky brew of a brownish orange cast. Big grapefruit flavour here, though no one’d ever mistake this for a grapefruit cooler. All beer here, friends. Still a great one!
Bottle: The aroma consists of tropical fruits, mango, citrus, light lemon, and grapefruit. It pours a transparent amber with a yellow-tinged off-white head that leaves some nice lacing on the side of the glass. The flavor starts with oranges, tropical fruits, and faint mango. There is some faint caramel in the background. The finish has light grapefruit and light fruitiness. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. Bottle courtesy of Jason and Dawn. Thanks! Not much going on in the aroma department. Just a very slight citrus component. Earthy hop and biscuit malt flavors. Really faint citrus flavor. Overall a decent IPA.

(1pt 6oz bottle) Clear orange amber with a thick, smooth off-white head. Aroma of grass, floral notes, and fruit (tropical, mango, apricot, slight orange). Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Fairly strong sweetness, caramel and toffee, but strong hop bitterness dries it out; pine, grass; resiny; some vegetable and funky notes, too. A good IPA and a little bit different from most. matty (450) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2012
22 oz. bottle on 7/5/12. Pours a light copper color with an off-white head that settles to a thin film. Pine notes in the aroma along with spicy hops and sweet malt in the background. Medium/thin body, slight hop taste on the tongue. Leans a liittle to the malt side. Slghty dry finish. Worth trying. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Bight gold color, dense thick head and tons of laceing. Nice earthy hop grass nose. Dark feel on the tongue, good hops and citrus finish. Syzzer (736) - Oregon, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Pours an interesting dark orange color with an off-white creamy head. Striking hops that mellow, but there is a notable bitter finish gregwilsonstl (2711) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Cloudy dark copper. Citrus. Unique spicy hops. Very hoppy in every stage from aroma to aftertaste, but balanced.
