Pleasant mild aroma leads into a sharp, biting palate. Amber colored with adequate creamy sand colored head. Malt and hops equally represent in the aroma, but hops come on full bore in the taste. Astringent , tingly palate, leaves your mouth alive. dlovell2 (2142) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - APR 30, 2014
Pours golden with a white head. Floral Citrus aroma. Sweet fruity malt start with a floral citrus hop finsish.

Bottle, Savant label. Citrus aroma, crisp and slightly floral. Poured an amber/orange with a nice mellow caramel head. A bright fuzzy feel and a fresh hoppy taste bring this one home for me. For a go-to brew, this will do it for me. This doesn’t need an accompaniment; it’s all good for just enjoying solo! bgb1991 (131) - AUSTRALIA - APR 21, 2014
Big bitey hops in this one. A bit metallic, classis of sauvon for me. Im not a fan of the balance in this beer, too sweet at the start, too astringent at the finish. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 9, 2014
this was a middle of the road IPA, at best. But it’s priced like the rarest, once a decade type of brew. Falls so far short of the expectations solely based on price. think twice before trying this donkey disguised as a thoroughbred

22 ounce bottle. Labelled as Savant. Amber orange color with a rocky beige head. Mild citrus and pine hop aroma. Bitter complex malty hop flavor has notes of tropical fruit and pine hops. Nicely balanced with a big hoppy finish. Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 22, 2014
Bomber. ( as Savant) Unclear orange brown, off-white foam mostly fades. Tropical fruity citrus hop aroma, some pine. Lightly bitter tropical fruity Kiwi hop taste dominates, some citrus, evergreen and faint spice, mild caramel malts. Average carbonation, lighter-medium bodied, more aggressively hopped. Very nice. Bright light orange clear pour with a little white head. Amazing floral hop taste, with a nose to match: extremely unique and floral (probably from NZ hops), very very juicy and nice, grapefruit citrus as well, rounded out nicely with a subtle but smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. This is a very good standard, drink every day IPA with a juicy flare adding unique complexity. pinkie (470) - New York, USA - MAR 14, 2014
Pours an orange color, cloudy and with a dark melon like hue from deep within it. Fat creamy head of khaki foam that left plenty of clinging lace. Nose is tropical fruit and citrus. Light fresh orange on passion fruit. No pine in the nose until it warmed a bit then it was earthy pine needles. A beautiful scent of brown sugar for malt. Taste is outrageously good. The fruits are juicy and a bit tart too so they fully engage the palate. The earthy pine is light and the the malt becomes a soft light caramel. The body approaches medium but stays light. There’s a bit of sticky resin at the back to coat the throat and leaves a bitter that starts soft and then increases in intensity after the swallow. Lingering after tatse of caramel, sweet fruit and pine needles. Brilliant beer. chuckstout (334) - Washington, USA - MAR 13, 2014
I loved this beer. This had a sensual caramel that stayed generally light but was like a ribbon underneath this beer. The fruit was bountiful and the bitter started soft and then became a bit stronger as it lingered.
Lemon, guava, citrus, pours a nice Amber/orange with a dense off white head and excellent lacing. Nice body and mouthfeel. Bitter rind, caramel, biscuit and dry finish
