4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Definite passion fruit aroma, then full hoppy bitterness in the middle. Excellent, everything I hope for in an IPA.

Bottle. Pale copper in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of grapefruit and orange pulp, lumber yard, and both pale and caramel malts. Strong grapefruit and tropical citrus flavor, along with a decent pale and caramel malt blend, and some darker herbal elements. Heavier bodied than expected with a chunky bitterness. Fairly old school in spite of the Nelson Sauvin, but still tasty. LadySusan (766) - Ste-Therese, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 24, 2016

Pours a clear copper color with a beige head. Nice lacing. Nose of citrus and tropical fruit. Seems guava to me. Near full bodied. Lots of floral and fruit. Not of Medium body. Flavor of caramel malts with citrus. Bitter finish. Great. slowrunner77 (12144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 27, 2015
More crisp and clean than expected but the hops are still fairly pungent. Fruity Nelson and some earthy dankness. Enjoyed the bomber. sulawang (1168) - - SEP 23, 2015
Visual: Pours almost clear toffee brown with a smallish head, a thin murky layer of retention, lots of fast steady streams.
Nose: brown sugar toffee malt, lightly toasted, traces of woody apple juice. (lvl-4)-pungency
Mid-palate: bright, (lvl-4)-sweetnesss, (MAIN) red apple, caramel maltd
Finish: alcohol detection, dry stealth mild bitter lingering hopped finish.
Summary: A rather fruity IPA as opposed to herbacious or piney; didn’t have a whole lot of passion fruit as advertised, but some citrus. Drinkable, but the finish is a bit flat. matthewjk (1103) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 13, 2015
A better than average IPA that hits many appreciable notes: grove citrus, mellon, with a dry edge. This is very drinkable, but a tad thin in body for my liking. Overall, a nice 22oz bottle from Elysian. bulldogops (2701) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2015
Rating 1128 - 10.06.2014 - On tap at Beer Revolution. Lots of punchbowl hops) erupting from this foaming amber pour. Sharp hoppy overtones of citrusy, tropical sweetness pronounced into a firm bitterness, a balanced, crisp finish. Quite Nice.
