Draft at blind tiger with streets. Pours a darker body. Aroma is light wheat and spice. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of wheat, roast, yeast and spice. waltersrj (280) - Washington, USA - NOV 20, 2010
Golden yellow/orange hue with minimal white head that hugs the glass rim. Nose is lemon zest and light citrus from the wheat with a strange pumpkin flesh smell and yeast. Taste is not well put together with a funky yeast, lemon, and wheat taste followed by pumpkin flesh and fruit. Strangely put together beer, not good. Mouthfeel was watery. Tap at Elysian Great Pumpkin Fest. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - NOV 19, 2009

hazy amber color with a fleeting head. Big tart wheat, pumpkin flesh aromas. Smooth medium body. Nice lightly tart wheat flavor with tasty pumpkin clove banana. [email protected]
Tap at Falling Rock - pretty much nothing like a hefe or a pumpkin beer - I guess one you get past that, it isn’t terrible - some crisp, toasted grain character and a bit of earthiness, which I suppose is the pumpkin - some spicy, peppery notes and mild phenols - kind of boring, but refreshing - hard to believe that they used wehenstephaner yeast in this, though. On draught at Falling Rock Tap House in Denver for the 2009 Elysian Pumpkinfest. The beer pours a lustrous orange-gold color with a thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Malt, pumpkin and yeast aromas. Medium body with flavors of pumpkin, tart fruit and yeast. Mild rubbing alcohol astringency in the background at times too. The finish is pumpkin and sweet spices with a yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at Iron Hill West Chester. Poured cloudy amber in color with a medium sized white head that left lacing. Aroma of fruity esters, cloves, pumpkin, lightly toasted malts. Tastes of pumpkin spices, banana, cloves, vanilla and bread. KornDogg (570) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2009
Draft. Iron Hill WC. The wheat is very noticable with notes of banana and lemon... very little pumpkin flavor and an aftertaste that I just did not like... maybe a little soapy egajdzis (6589) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2009
Murky dark golden color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, vanilla, pumpkin, toast, and toffee malts. Taste of citrus, pumpkin, banana, clove, vanilla, and a dry, yeasty finish. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - OCT 26, 2009
Tap at IH WC during Gathering of the Gourds 2009. Pours a hazy brownish orange with a medium bubbly white hea.d Aroma of banana and cover mixed with pumpkin pie spices. Flavor was much of the same. Pie spicing was toned down and you could really tell this was a hefe spiced with pumpkin pie spicces...interesting. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 21, 2009
Tap at the Blind Tiger for Elysian’s Pumpkin Beer night. Very hefe-spicy, dried banana chip and spritzy black pepper. Very fizzy flavor with a thin body. A bit of pumpkin in the finish, mostly light, artificial spices. A week effort from these guys.
