On tap at the Elysian near Pike’s Place. Pours a hazed golden amber with a thin white head. Smells of bad cheese. Medium bodied, sweet malt, a bit cheesy, funk, a touch of malt, soft old pineapple. Slow malt, weird bitterness into the finish beastiefan2k (3981) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - MAR 27, 2016
Tap at Elysian. So, I want my DIPA to be hoppy, surprisingly Elysian doesn’t agree. Super dusty, stale maltiness. Yuck. andrewje41 (3891) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Draft pour at Brouwers, listed at 8.9% Stop #4 of my on foot Seattle crawl. Yet I havent hit a place that is new to me yet. Yet. Pours a cloudy orange copper with a thick foam head. Fruity aroma that reminded me of kiwi. Unique for sure. Flavor is modest hops, sweet fruit, and a dry side finish. Semi juicy. Easy drinking, with no offensive elements. Enjoyable for sure. cheap (5861) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2013
On tap at mad mex. From the start this stuff smells like mild volatile sweet perfume, The smell makes me think it is strong and it is. Comes across initially like a american wahnnah be barelywaine. A little rude and uncivilized I’d say. The color is somewhat hazy pale yellah. Strong. Somewhat cloying at times fer sure. Very little co2. A littel difficult during the session, does not hide alky well. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - NOV 13, 2013

Growler from Super Deli Mart. Pours bright orange copper with medium off white head that laces well. Aroma is sugary coconut pale malt with aromatic fresh hop notes. Taste is sweet, syrupy rich caramel malt followed by big floral earthy grassy hops, finishes bitter. Quite boozy, easily seems bigger than 8.8%. Very interesting to see something new in the DIPA world... the nutty malt and floral hops are a really cool and unique combo. Never even heard of this beer before, hope Elysian makes more! Tap. Deep golden with small head. Really interesting piney and spicy hops. Is that sorachi ace? In any case, very delicious.

4oz sample at Max’s Hop Fest 2013. Pours a hazy, burnt orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is big and piney, grapefruit, malt, lemon. Flavor is all pine, cleaning solution, pine cones. Just tons of pine and spruce. Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Tap at pizzeria paradiso dupont circle august 2013
Pours ligbtly hazy dark orange with a small soapy white head. Nose is wierd vanilla almost oaky tones lemon scented cleaner like mr clean but that is what tbe hop does. It creates crazy notes. Flavors are big vanilla lemon cleaner and lite piney bitterness. Finish is somewhat short lingering lemon and lite bitterness. I’m not a fan of this hop however the vanilla notes in tbis beer are interesting. Never had tbat before in a sa hopped beer.
