Slightly hazy rustic golden/copper under a thin rocky cap. Nose has an initial tartness of lacto acidic yeast and something citric like orange or something. Nice tart flavor especially at the start with a wonderful balanced flavor of lemon zest and tart sour yeast with a soft wheaty tone to back it up. Nicely done. Bronzed body, ring of carbonation, faded head.Perhaps I’ve had a few too many Elysian pumpkin beers, but the aroma resonates or sour pumpkin flesh. In a complementary, yet similar vein, the flavor blurs on the tongue with sugar pumpkin with a tart balancing vein. Roasted and salty sunflower seed finish. reebtogi (6235) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 12, 2013
Sampled during VCBW 2013 at the River Rock Casino Resort pouring a pale golden color with a small white head that leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Light aroma of grains with hints of citrus and yeast. Taste is a lemon sourness with a light sweet malty body. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation. An interesting take on the style and quite tasty.

Nice dark yellow colour with a pale head. Aroma is bread, mandarin, clover honey. Nice mild sourness on the palate with a balancing sweet wheat character. Taste is wheat, orange marmalade, honey. Very drinkable. stchloe (1017) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Very solid sour beer flavor, tart and puckering. Saffron adds a nice dry quality to balance the lightly sweet malt notes, also a wonderful aroma of grass/hay. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JUN 12, 2010
Clear amber color/ lasting white head. Nice barnyard dung, cinnamon, cherry, caramel aromas. medium bodied. Bretty barnyard piss and dung flavors with spicy cinnamon, dusty earthy pale malts. Lightly sour like a Berliner wheat. very good carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 23, 2010
