Bomber pours a hazy dark brown color with a thick foamy tan head that leaves good lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, chocolate and caramel. Tastes of the same things in the smell with good hop bite in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with great carbonation. Great imperial red ale. Great balance and very smooth. Looking forward to it’s next release. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Bottle. Pours a very dark brown color with a pretty thick light tan head on there. Nose is pretty hoppy with a lot of floral tones and just a bit of some toasted caramel to it. Taste is slightly toasty and bitter up front, but has a residual caramel sweetness on the back end. Nice brew. MarinaMarket (254) - POULSBO, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Lots of malt and hops on both aroma and taste. Really nice pour with beautiful head. Much like an imperial black IPA, leaning slightly more malty. Great bittering on the finish. Tasted at 48°F. fiulijn (20515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 30, 2015

Dark brown color with generous compact head. Too similar to a Black IPA not to be mentioned; good resiny hops blend with good malt, and moderate roasty character; full bodied, fruity, fresh.
Very good beer.
Bomber. Pours a mahogany color, lots of reddish hues with a large beige head. A big sweet malty nose, caramel and cherry. A really rich ASA, caramel, the biggest flavor is probably toffee, dusty malts, cherry and light smoked malt. Very nice.

pours a cloudy deep dark brown with a small tan head, and great lacing.
smell is of hops, slight citrus, malt, and some spice.
taste is of hops, some citrus, dark malts, a little pine, and some spice. ends nicely bitter, and well balanced. nice brew. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Murky and burgundy-brown. Snappy, assertive hops from start to finish. Lots of pine, resin and grass, followed by a nip of citrus. Healthy amount of bitterness. Malt side is somewhat roasted and toasty, which seems to be its main deviation from being a black IPA. Also has a grainy nuttiness to it, which builds over time. Subtle scorched-toffee sweetness is easily kept in check by the hop bitterness and a hint of burntness. Tasty beer. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Piney and floral hops on the nose, rather pungent hoppiness really. Toasted malts, a little sweetness, and some vodka. Pours darker auburn/amber. Thin head and lace. The flavor consists of pine and floral hops, toasted malts, a little roast, a little sweetness, and vodka. After the vodka comes an assertive and rather agressive hop bitterness. Lingering hops and a little booze. Good. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Dark brown with a hint of red. Clear with a thin head. Big hops and malt flavors and aroma. I do get some piney and light citrus flavors. This was a big tasty black beer. Thanks Tim for the taste. Bacterial (2999) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Pour from 22oz bottle. Dark dark red pour. Some tan lacing. Pine and faint citrus on the nose. Nicely hopped, strong pine and grapefruit. A very nice beer!
