Bottle from Smoker Friendly. Medium amber in color. Malty nose with a little fruitiness. A bit of bready hoppiness as well. Bready up front with a bit of spicy hop character. Decent brew. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - AUG 16, 2015
Bottle from Chevy Chase beer and wine. Hazy orange body with slight head. Nose is hoppy, sweet. Taste is nice and hoppy and caramel. Warming finish. Spab (3846) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 8, 2015
12 oz bottle from Rockhead. Pours a lightly cloudy amber colour with decent-sized off-white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is caramel, lightly toasty grains and light citric/herbal hops. Flavour is malt-forward with big caramel, some toasty graininess and a fairly mild citric and herbal hop notes. Average body. Don’t see this as an APA, but it’s a servicable amber ale. gnoff (10367) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2015

HAzy amber color, off-white head. Malty, herbal taste. Herbal aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Malty, herbal scent.
Bottle at a 4th of July party. No idea what it looks like because (1) it was dark, and (2) it’s a party where the proper glassware is the bottle itself. Didn’t know the style in advance, but I assumed nondescript amber ale - toast, grain, caramel, indistinct moderately bitter hop profile. Overall: a completely forgettable beer, okay for chilling with friends.

Draught at Nakanoshima. Dark caramel, bitter citrusy hops, hints of red fruit, bitter finish. More a hoppy amber, pretty decent anyway. Poolieo (46) - Washington, USA - MAY 27, 2015
Everything about this beer is just fine. Nothing is great. The name is cute but that's about it.

Has a roasty and floral aroma. The appearance is reddish brown and slightly cloudy. The head is somewhat frothy. the taste is not bitter but somewhere in the middle. This is a medium bodied beer with a slick texture. The carbonation is average and the beer finishes on a bitter note. Overall this was a surprising red ale not bad but I thought the hops were a bit overpowering for a red ale. fonefan (49343) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2015

[ As Elysian Mens Room Original Red ].
Clear medium to light orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, earty - nutty notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, nutty - earthy, sweet malt, caramel - toffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Pours slightly hazy pale amber with one finger of loose light beige head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, moderate chunky lacing. (4/5) Nose is toasted malt, caramel, mild floral and citrus. (6/10) Taste is medium sweet, mild bitter. (6/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry and mild bitter finish. (3/5)
Sigh… I have regret. Not that this is a bad beer - it’s not. But it’s just what it says on the bottle: an original red. And that’s about all it is. Nothing interesting or memorable here. (12/20)
