UPDATED: AUG 23, 2015 Bomber. Caramel malt aroma with citrus and some pine hop notes. Pours amber colored with half a finger of white head with very good retention, but no lacing. Starts with caramel and some bready malt character as well as a bit of citrus. Finishes dry with a pretty sharp pine resiny bitterness that clings to the palate. Pretty good, but doesnít really remind of a red. More of an amber ale to me.
Pours an amber color with a red hue. Aroma is malty with no true distinction. Taste is a bit bitter with a hay and resin flavor. Dry aftertaste with a slight bitter bite. Overall, light and not complex. BVery (10297) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 8, 2017
Bottle. Light orange pour with a white head. Caramel, watery, muted hops - this is weak. ganache (5848) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 23, 2017
Bottle. Need an apostrophe on the label there, fellas! Nose caramel malt and toast. Pour rich clear amber in the glass with ruby highlights, a large and frothy beige head with yellow overtones. Taste medium-sweet with light bitterness but very nice toastiness; medium caramel with a darker, earthier finish and light citric oils. Faintly floral, classic medium body, has some mild hop bite to match its crispness. Clean and refreshing, if a little common. Well done. Visual: Pours clear brown-amber without much of a head, a thin layer of retention, clusters of steady streams.Blairgus (4529) - California, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Nose: sweet light toasted barley malt (lvl-5)-pungency
Attack: quenching crisp bite
Mid-palate: immediate resiny bitter hops, smooth tingly CO2, (lvl-3-sweetness), bittersweet metallic toasted barley malt
Finish: hints of grassiness, residual grainy dry malt
Summary: Rather simple, short length and quenching mouthfeel - not terribly interesting. A bit above average but not worth seeking out.
18 dec 2016, tap. Red with steady bubbles. Nose is piney hops and red malt. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Mildly piney hops, slightly sweet and malty. Rather bland. djd07 (14355) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 23, 2016

Iíve had this beer probably a dozen or so times over the years, purely out of my joint respect for both beer and the Menís Room program. I donít know why I never rated the beer. Seems like every time I have it, it is poured into plastic at some bar that probably never cleans their lines. Today, I find myself enjoying it under unique circumstances. Not only that, I have a hard time listening to the program now, due to the departure of my favorite cast member. If you ever read this Ben, I miss you buddy, and I hope I get the chance to buy you a beer some day to say thanks for all the laughs over the years. Youíve done the program twice as long as Iíve been legally allowed to drink this beer. This beer is memorable for me because when I am drinking it, there is usually an event that surrounds it. Itís usually quite refreshing on the hot days, but it can be rough on other occasions. A biting nutty malt, and it comes off as boozier than it claims to be. Caramely, but a bit papery as well. On a scale of bad to the best, itís yummy. Now that I finally uploaded a long thought out rating though, I might not see myself getting this much more. Alright beer Iíd say.
