Bottle. Amber orange with small head. Solid fall seasonal. Medium+ caramel body. Fall spicing with clove and cinnamon. Not too much pumpkin. Pretty good. commonshawn (1323) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 8, 2016
Tap at new bohemia in golden valley. Bumped pint glass. Light orange with medium white head. Really nice pumpkin spice aroma. Flavors come through well with good sweetness. Body is full. This does a really good job of delivering on expectations. Probably my last pumpkin of the season and not a bad one to go out on Brigadier (3750) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - NOV 30, 2016

Despite being part of the InBev family it doesn’t seem that Elysian has lost too much of their edge. This solid seasonal pleases from start to finish. A great beer at a fair price point should be on your radar for 2017.
Aroma / Appearance - The warm orange color radiates with the warmth of a dying sunset. The velvety head looks like a thick splash of creamy icing. Pumpkin pie, whipped cream, and a mild earthy texture draw in the nose.
Flavor / Palate - Nutmeg, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream emerge after a few seconds. The filling profile brings to mind a post-Thanksgiving visit to the dessert table. The earthiness that emerges keeps it grounded until the very end. I’d go for this again if it were an affordable draft.
caramel, herbs, clove, amber, hazy, white foam, medium bitterness, medium sweetness, medium body, average carbonation, long finish, tightslice (1438) - Redwood City, California, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Bottle from Key Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is strong nutmeg and cloves, mild cinnamon. Taste is bitter spices (nutmeg, cloves) with a nutty, presumably pumpkin, backbone. Spice is overwhelming here.
AgentAle (1812) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 9, 2016
Aroma is cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg and brown sugar. Taste is light but rich sweet malts. Caramel, honey and pumpkin spice. The pumpkin flavors do as usual dominate most the palate but this is better than most. Appearance is a clear brown with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly. tillmac62 (759) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - NOV 7, 2016
Cloudy amber pour with normal head volume, outstanding lacing and world class retention.
Outstanding nose of pumpkin, a light sweetness and mixed spices (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg) as an undercurrent.
Outstanding body that is heavy medium and slightly slick. World class carbonation / body balance that delivers an effervescent middle and a nice prickly burst in the finish.
Borderline world class flavor profile that strikes the perfect balance of pumpkin and spice. It begins with a mixed spice that begins as nutmeg then flows to cinnamon and ginger by the middle. Underneath is a subtle sweetness that has caramel notes. The middle is also where pumpkin makes the strongest appearance that ebbs into the finish. From the middle on, spice becomes more pronounced with clove and allspice taking center stage. The finish yields a lingering pumpkin and spice note. One of the best pumpkin ales I’ve had. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 28, 2016
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish orange color with white head. Spiced, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie aromas. Pumpkin pie, nutmeg, spice, cinnamon, brown sugar flavors. Probably the best pumpkin beer I’ve had this year. Although definitely heavy on the pumpkin pie spice and flavoring. ronaldtheriot (1995) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Night Owl has a thin, off-white, crackling head, a semi-clear, very orange appearance, with lots of suspended sediment, fierce bubble streams, and a bit of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is of pumpkin pie spices, pie crust, and pumpkin pulp. Taste is of pumpkin pie and graham cracker. Mouthfeel is high medium & chewy, and Night Owl finishes semi-dry. Cloudy orange with some yeasties. Pumpkin and cinnamon aroma. Very sweet, lots of pumpkin, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, a bit of funkiness in the finish.
