On tap at Elysian Fields for SBW. Pours a nice dark brown with light carbonation. Citrus and spice (cloves/cinnamon?) dominate the aroma. A pretty mild ber that’s not too sour with good roasted malts. however, the oak dominates. Smooth beer but a bit long on the tongue. carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 10, 2009
On tap at Fields for SBW. Clear nice roasted caramel color. Sweetness and candied sugars on the nose but the taste is a big let down with the oak dominating. Needs more aging.
