tap at sourfest. pours a deep brownwith a light tan head. spotty lace. weird grainy green apply and roasted coffee notes. also a dose of chocolate in the nose. bready, roasted cofffee flavor. leaves a doughy cocoa taste in the mouth. light funk. good. liked this. waltersrj (280) - Washington, USA - MAY 21, 2010
Draft at Brouwers Sour Ale Fest 10’. Pours a deep murky brown with a small tannish head. The nose is chocolate, Brett, roasted malt, oak, and sherry. The taste is an interesting mix of the chocolate, roasted malt, and smoke of a porter with the funky Brett and mild acidity of a sour ale. Interesting mix. The palate was medium bodied, slightly chewy. Good beer. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAY 20, 2010
draft at brouwers sourfest. pours murky dark brown with bright medium amber edges and loose tan head. big roasty chocolate nose with some caramelized plums and tawny port in there. creamy body, a little thin and still. light mid palate, some chocolate, roast fruit, and dark toast there. mild chocolatey finish. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - MAY 17, 2010
Dark chocolate brown, whipped creamy fluffy foamy sandy head. Dark chocolate, cherry and horse blanket aroma, dank and musty. Dry gritty chocolate, active young and strong brett character plays wonderfully with this beer. Amazing.
