Bottle. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, light bitter chocolate notes. Flavor of sweet roasted malt, vegetal notes, cantelope, with a sweet finish. Meh, too sweet and not enough roastedness that I expect from a porter. 7/4/6/3/14 (3.4/5)

Black with a thin head and lovely lace. Aroma is espresso with a hint of walnuts. Flavor is mellow if you sip it, but nice and bitter if you take a big drink. Coffee aftertaste. Good clean porter.

On tap at the source in Seattle-USA. Coffee like pour cloudy, brownish cap adhesive. Nose: hint of cocoa powder, Tiramisú. Mouth: coffee powder, watery, a bit tart, flat. Boring but not that bad. Limbo.

Dark brown to black color, teal head. Roasted, sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Roasted scent. Sweet aftertaste.
4 oz pour from tap into a cylindrical tasting glass at the brewery in Seattle. Black and opaque with a moderate head. Dry dark malts on the nose. A little earthy. Medium body. Dry. Taste is a step up from a typical English porter. Dry with a little smoke and a little chocolate. Flavorful, but nothing too obtrusive. Something I could drink a few of without much of a problem. The centennial add a nice bitterness, though I’m not getting much of their fruitiness. On tap at The Ginger Man, New York, NY. A dark brown coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee aroma. Tastes simiar, roasty, malty, slight coffee, rather thin porter but alright.
