Pale orange, fruity hoppy and strong. A bold, unapologetically hoppy northwest-style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts with a portion of sugar. Bittered and finished with Chinook, Centennial and whole flower Cascade hops all over the place.

Wonderful fresh hop aroma. Floral and citrus together. An excellent beer. Good hops but not real overpowering, If anything, this could have just a tad more strength.

turboespresso (256) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 13, 2011
On tap. Cloudy copper-gold with small ring. Little lace. Mild to medium carbonation. Quite cloudy and hazy. Aroma is a little fruity with hint of citric hops. Body is on the lean side. Taste of slight malt sweetness with hint of citrus and straightforward bitterness. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Quite good but not quite great. Goes well with spicy food.

19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - AUG 24, 2010
Bright amber body with copper-orange hues. Crisp, biting, floral hops on the nose with some light grassy notes. Body is a little thin and watery sporting a lightly toasted caramel maltiness. Lightly sweet finish.

SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - MAY 19, 2010
Tap at brewpub. Phone rate. Pours a cloudy orange amber. Notes of nice clean grapefruit and tangerines. Flavor is toasty caramel and grapefruit skins. Dry. Solid.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 3, 2010
@ brewpub. Muddy brown-orange. Luscious thick head leaves substantial lacing. Aroma is quite balanced with earthiness and sweetness and even a touch of funk as if it’s from a barrel. Also subtle, slight diacetyl. Tasty stuff. Straightforward with earth, trees, leaves and mulch. Has a masculine quality. Unfortunately, the slickness in the palate and burnt butter emerge as it warms.

3.5
SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 4, 2010
On tap at Tangletown. Pours a hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Has a mild citrus aroma and a little bit of butter. Flavor has strong hop grapefruits but the mouth feel is slick. Is there a slight diacetyl contaminant? If so, it’s well hidden as this is a really tasty beer.

Hazy golden with dense white head and nice lacing. Faint pine aroma. Not overly hoppy but dry and astringent, nice overall flavor but nothing outstanding.
