Pale orange, fruity hoppy and strong. A bold, unapologetically hoppy northwest-style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts with a portion of sugar. Bittered and finished with Chinook, Centennial and whole flower Cascade hops all over the place.

22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy orange with a 1 finger head. Nice, floral aroma with a good malt backbone. Flavor is bitter, smooth, with a nice sweet maltiness. There is a bit of metallic flavor showing through, probably due to oxidation. Still, it’s pretty good regardless.

Bottle @ home. I’ve had such good experiences with Elysian, I’m surprised I haven’t rated more by them. Lets go! Very hazy, reddish orange appearance with a fluffy, tan head that has great lacing. Huge mango, passion fruit, tropical fruity, spicy yeasty, orange citrusy, creamy, awesome aroma. Somewhat floral, orange citrusy, grapefruity, mango, pineapple, big tropical fruity flavor. Just my kind of ipa and fresh! Really delicious stuff! Fuck yeah!

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, citrus, grapefruit, pine, tangerine, crystal malt, orange, hops, fruit, and a hint of resin. Poured orange in color with a large, creamy, dense, rocky, off-white/tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny-sized particles throughout. Very good to excellent lacing. Flavor is slightly to lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, pine, orange, citrus, and a hint of wood. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, medium bitter, malt, hop, pine, finish.

Bottle... Poured amber/orange with thick, bubbly white head. Big NW Hop flavor. Resinous, pine-like, citrus. Nice body, some sweetness but never bearing with malt flavor. Crisp, hoppy finish. Other notes of citrus, small alcohol and some bitterness.

Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Tasty IPA. Boldly hopped, as in boldly citrusy and earthy. Zing and bite is relatively tame. Big notes of passion / tropical fruit. Malty base with elements of cocoa powder, scones and bread. Moderate bitterness. Pleasant floral aromas.

Draft at blue monk, golden orange pour, citrus pith, grapefruit, orange marmalade notes in the aroma. Citrus heavy, malty backbone, solid bitterness. Decent IPA
