Draft at pinocchios. aroma is grapefruit forward with a little pine in the background. Taste is medium bitter but has some maltiness on the finish. Solid! tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2012
Bomber. Pours clean amber with a tint of orange. Thin white head that leaves soapy lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, citrusy hops and pine. Taste is soft, sweet caramel malt, citrusy hops with a strong hop bitterness on the back end. DocLock (10830) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Bomber from Capone’s. Pours chill hazy orangy copper with 2-finger off-white head that laces well. Nose is bright tropical fruity hops, caramel malts, slicy black pepper. Tastes tropical fruity, resiny, piney, with black pepper, caramel malt, and a dry bitter and hugely IBU-laden finish. The hop varieties in this complement each other. Well made. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Bottle:   Fiery orange, slight haze, large rocky off-white head, very nice lacing.   Looks great in the glass!   Soft pithy nose, somewhat sweet, a little pine, and also some candied citrus peel.   Oh wow, now that is nice on the tongue.   Lots of juicy citrus varieties, some pine and mellow yet flavorful hops.   This is really smooth, flavorful, without being overly biting.   Super easy to drink, yet has my tongue a little tingly from the bitterness.   Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   Carbonation is very mild.   I really like this one, and so far the best of the Manic IPA series. mcberko (18389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2012
22 oz. bottle, pours a clear dark copper with a medium white head. Aroma of truckloads of piney and resinous hops, mandarin oranges and other tropical fruits (mango and pineapple), and caramel malts. Flavour of orange peel, some mango, resinous hops, and caramel malt backing. Medium astringency from the orange peel notes, with quite a well-balanced body, though pronouncedly hoppy. Very enjoyable IPA.

Tap. Pours hazy copper with thin, fizzy white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is floral and grassy hops, oranges, straw malt, lemon, and light herbs. Flavor is balanced hops (light bitterness) and sweet malt with strong orange towards the end; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth. Pint at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with a very nice, lasting head. This is a no-nonsense PNW IPA. The nose is crazy hoppy with fresh grapefruit and evergeen. I haven’t had a pure, straight up IPA like this in a while. Man, is it good. The flavor is clean and satisfyingly bitter. Fresh, sharp grapefruit and pine notes bombard my palate. Finish is lovely. This will take care of any IPA craving I might have. Zeswaft (1775) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 10, 2012
On tap at Tangletown. Awesome mango, citrus atoma. Quite pungent. Flavor is a little disappointing for the aroma. Quite boozy, would have expected a double ipa. Citrus hops and bitterness. Average appearance and palate. ekorecordings (1) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2011 does not count
Tasted from a cask at St. Augustines in Vancouver BC. Brilliant, light, hoppy, complex.
