Cask @ Elysian Fields. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with a long hoppy bitter finish. Leaving you with a long bitter aftertaste.

Bottle from Central City Liquor Store, Surrey
Golden to light amber color, with medium sized compact head. The aroma is quite powerful, fresh and fruity, with hints of caramel and toffee too. It has a very good malt and toffee flavor, dynamic, not chewy at all, with a fresh hopping, providing delicate fruits (apricot and sweet oranges), mild resins (spruce), light spices (black pepper, very light coriander).
Another good hit from Elysian in the IPA domain, notable for its freshness.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear dark copper with a medium white head. Aroma of truckloads of piney and resinous hops, mandarin oranges and other tropical fruits (mango and pineapple), and caramel malts. Flavour of orange peel, some mango, resinous hops, and caramel malt backing. Medium astringency from the orange peel notes, with quite a well-balanced body, though pronouncedly hoppy. Very enjoyable IPA.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2010 2010: Hazy straw-amber with a thin head. Bubbly. Rich herbal, citrusy brew. Moderate bitterness. Smells like sticking your head in a bag of hops. Nice, easy-drinking hop juice with just enough malt balance. BUT, as it warms a little bit of butter comes out, ruining the whole thing.

2007: Hazy amber with low head. Very woody nose - the centennial signature. Toasty, lightly chocolatey malts and lots of bitterness. Woody, lightly citric hop character. Assertive but balanced IPA that harkens to the mid 90s and does it really well. 8-3-8-4-16 = 3.9

Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours hazy light amber with a slight white head. Aroma is pine and near sugar bomb. With quite a bit of floral and citrus. Med plus body. Flavor is resin, citrus and floral. Hints of brown sugar. Damn but it’s hoppy. Damn but it’s bitter. Finishes towards barleywine, but the hops is enough to cut that. Finishes extremely tasty.

Bomber poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, floral notes, lemon zest , light earthiness and a hint of mint. Palte was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, mint, lemon zest, light mint and a hint of grapefruit with a smooth lightly dry bitter lingering minty citrus finish.

22oz bottle. Murky amber body topped by large off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, flower/orange, light bread. Taste is grapefruit, some pine. Starts bitter with minimal sweetness, but sweet caramel hits toward the swallow and accompanies the bitterness at the end. Highly unusual (unprecedented?) experience for me to get the sweetness at the back of the mouth when I expect the real bitterness to hit. Medium resinous body, low carbonation, some acidity.

Sample at the Pike Street location. This brew is a cloudy orange color with a medium and fluffy off-white head that lasts awhile. Patches of lacing. Citrus, hops and bready malt in the nose. Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with flavors of hops, citrus and green grapes, along with some malt as a base. The finish is hoppy with lingering grapefruit taste. Pretty solid all around.
